107812 Hi all,

I mentioned her in another post, but MG/YA Author Wendy Terrien is offering up a few eBooks for free if any of y'all are interested!

Her debut novel The Rampart Guards was chosen as one of Kirkus Reviews Indie Books of the month for April of this year, and I've seen some really great reviews for it so far!

If you'd be interested, I'm helping distribute those, and would be happy to get those to you. I have three total, and they're first come, first serve. Just shoot me an e-mail! SamanthaJoLien@gmail.com

107812 Thank you for the update! I love the movie folder - as I'm kind of a movie junkie, too! :)

107812 The book was incredible, and the movie KILLED ME! I totally picked a night when I knew I could just cry it out, and let it rip.

107812 New book out on Friday - The Rampart Guards by Wendy Terrien. I know her from some writing groups around Denver, and this is her first novel, The Rampart Guards. It got chosen as one of Kirkus Reviews Indie Books of the month for April of this year, and makes for a killer urban fantasy read. I absolutely loved it!

107812 Anyone read "One Day"? I guess it falls a little out of YA, but can totally apply - maybe new adult. I thought they did a killer job with the movie.

107812 You should definitely read this! :) I read this in college, and loved it. Came at recommendation of my old roommate, and wasn't disappointed.

107812 I'd check out Amalie Howard's titles (http://amaliehoward.com). She's got a great take on some different types of fantasy out there that are refreshing (plus she's so much fun as an author).

Sue Duff is good, too. I saw her at ComicCon last year, and she brought in a magician for her booth signing to tie in with the magic in her story. She has the Weir Chronicles series: http://sueduff.com

107812 Read this in high school - LOVED IT (and the movie). I was so sad to see Harper Lee's passing last week. :(

107812 Hi everyone!

Just wanted to say hi. :) My name is Sami - I live in Denver and read all types of genres. I've had a chance to work with more and more YA authors lately though, particularly in the fantasy genre - and just love it. So nice to find like-minded folks here, too!
