Thanks! And best of luck with your new endeavor.

Me too! For me, if there's no suspense in a story - in whatever form - there's not much that interests me. But I don't want to work too hard trying to figure out who the bad guys are, just what they want and/or how they're going to get it - and how that affects the heroes.
Welcome to the group!

Last Shot at Justice is now A Thomas Family Novel, and it is live on Amazon for 99¢, or to read for free in Kindle Unlimited.

If you are interested in reviewing it, I can provide a review copy.
Happy Monday the day after Daylight Savings.

I wish I had the time to read it, but my stack of "immediate reads" is high.
I hope you got some responses, and that this comment gives your offer a bump.
Best of everything!

Short version: this is a great read!

I was just thinking that it might be fun to share our reviews with each other when we have read a suspenseful book that struck us in one way or another. So, feel free to post your reviews here.
Enjoy!

Suspense, I would offer, is the true spice of life. At least in fiction. :-)

Welcome, Misty! Great to have you here. I understand what you mean about taking the leap to publish. I wonder sometimes if it ever gets easier. I also am introverted, though I wouldn't say I have anxiety issues. It's just I can only stand to be around people for finite periods of time. Actually I think what I am is called an Ambivert. Or something like that. :-/
Your book looks very fascinating and complex. I love stories where two worlds collide like that. Are you giving away Advance Read Copies (ARCs)? I might be able to squeeze a read into my read list. ;-)
As far as suggestions, my series falls into the Suspense - Romantic Suspense genre. The first book is called Last Shot at Justice You can get a free copy by going to this link: https://www.instafreebie.com/free/TEGOq and downloading it. I would love it if you reviewed it. If you like it and want to read on in the series, I can see about getting you the other books as well.
(I'm in the process of rebooting the series with new covers and I've been tweaking the blurbs. Blurbs are my nemesis. LOL)
Feel free to roam around the other threads in the group. We're kind of a quiet lot, but I'd love it if you engaged in any conversation that piques your interest.

My latest novella is a Young Adult Historical Fantasy, and it has strong elements of suspense. It's also squeaky clean and suitable for kids as young as 10. It's LIVE as of today, and only 99¢
Early readers are calling it "Delightful!"

Princess Aslynn and Sebastian have been friends nearly since birth, despite their differing social status. A friendship cemented by a tragic common thread: Aslynn's mother died giving birth to her, and Sebastian had been found floating in a sea chest after a storm. Though a magic spell had protected him, there was no clue as to his identity or his origins, and the boy from the sea was raised by the king’s swordmaster.
Fifteen years later, the forces of change are converging on the small island kingdom they call their home.
In a storm to rival the one that brought Sebastian ashore, the two friends rescue a shipwrecked stranger. In gratitude, the traveling mystic offers to solve Sebastian's mystery, but as the stranger uncovers clues, events surrounding his arrival stir up more than just the past.
A True Prince is a complete story arc, and does not end on a cliffhanger. Book 2 - due out in July 2016 - picks up five years later. The third book should be out in September or October.

It is also available for pre-order at Amazon for 99cents - one-click today to support a fellow writer and/or lover of suspense.

One Last Song is book 3 in my Boys of Syracuse, Kansas series, and beta readers have agreed, it's an exciting addition.
Would you like an ARC to review?
Here's the short blurb:
In a bold operation that leaves the tiny town of Syracuse reeling, Kylie and Jax are kidnapped. Getting nabbed by human traffickers is bad enough, but their captors have another agenda. What happens in the next 24 hours is not on any playlist.
I've submitted a Goodreads giveaway that is pending approval. You can enter for a chance to win a signed paperback of this exciting standalone novel that takes you on the run into the New Mexican desert.
Members of this group can post here or message me to receive an Advance Review Copy as early as February 1, in exchange for an honest review. (Preference will be given to those who have reviewed my books before, or at least show a track record of reviewing books by the number of reviews they have under their profile.)

Always great to hear from people who have stories to tell about the stories they tell!

It was addressed to me at The Suspense of it All and appears to be direct from Harper Collins, but there was no note, or anything along with it.
I'm assuming it is an ARC, but it seems like a pretty wide net to spread.
