1115391 I remember a book I read when I was younger that had like an entire playlist on its back and the author suggested the readers to listen to said songs in specific moments in the book, so I guess ever since then I get this feeling of associating couples or books to songs, it is kind of nuts and it doesn't happen with every book, but it feels nice

1115391 i was thinking about something these days that i'd like to ask y'all: so, have you have ever associated a moment of a book or characters to any songs? sometimes i catch myself trying to find a good soundtrack to a book and i was curious to know if there's anyone like me out there

1115391 Also, I have an unpopular opinion because I don't like The Book Thief as well. Not that I hate it, I just thought it was tiring as hell

Has anyone read Verity by Colleen Hoover?"

1115391 oh, I've read some horrible books, but one of my least favorites, which i couldn't even finish was The Casual Vacancy, from ~that~ author. bad writing, bad story, i just hate it

1115391 what about the movies? do you like the adaptations? do you think of them as two different ways to tell the story? what is your favorite?

1115391 Lav, i know the tv show but never read the books.

for me, it was definitely the harry potter saga. i read philosopher's stone as soon as it came out in Brazil and it was just that for me, i was 9 yo and it was just so special

1115391 There's this common knowledge saying you're supposed to read Le Petit Prince in three different stages of you life and see how your vision on it has changed. i just read it while I was in high school, so I feel like I missed the chance to know what kid me would think about it

1115391 This year I've been reading lots of non-serious novels but The Boy Who Followed His Father Into Auschwitz was just so raw and emotional
