50x66 The book I been reading is Finding Miracles by Julia Alvarez . Imagine liking some one and you can't tell that special person how you feel about them ? Milly Kaufman meets a new kid at school his name is Pablo. And she starts to act different around her friends because Pablo starts hanging out with her friends . And she starts acting different , she thinks that she needs to be on her very best . " milly why are you so quiet ? Oh I got to go" now that she acts different her friends treat her different . I recommend this book to ages 12 and up . Some other books by the same author are A Wedding In Haiti , How Tia Lola ended up starting over , and meny more
50x66 This book sounds very interesting and I like it how you put a question first so that it can have me thinking . Great job :)(:

50x66 The book that I been reading is The color purple by Alice Walker. What would you do if your step dad killed your mom ? Just because he wanted to rap your little sister . " You better not never tell nobody but god. It'd kill your mammy." (Pg1) This quote is trying to say , that the step dad basically killed the mother and now that she's not around he's started to rap her and the little sister . And Alice prays to god every day to help her out , and to let her free. This story is based on a true story the author is telling us her own life story , how she was raised. "This story shows , Intense emotional impact.... Indelibly affecting ... Alice Walker is a lavishly gifted writer. " -Francisco. I recommend this book to age 12 and older . Alice Walker is also the author of three collections of Short stories, collections of essays , and six volumes .

50x66 What would you do if your arm was bit off a shark ? "The girl was swimming approximately four yards from shore in waters four to five feet deep when the shark attacked." Boston Glob also said about the book "A poetic and beautiful debut novel." In the story Shark Girl by Kelly Bingham I like this book because it reminds me of one of my best friends that hurt her arm while playing soccer, and like the girl in the story how she couldn't draw my friend couldn't write for a while. I would recommend this book to ages 11 and up.

50x66 Hey everyone, I was reading the book "World Cup" by Matt Christopher. My opinion about this book is that its very interesting when you get to read about when soccer all started on December,1863. Soccer was one of the popular sports in the United States. In "World Cup" it talks about when soccer started, and how it began. Well soccer wasn't different at all it had rules just like thy other sports. one of the first fans that soccer had were the Emigration Europeans, in there country soccer was king to them. I would recommend this book to any ages, because its not that violent for kids. I also would like to recommend this book to people that like reading or playing soccer.
