50x66 Well, done Abraham. Reading your review reminded me of how much I liked it. I like you also placed a quote and then explained it. Great job.

50x66 I agree with Ashley and the novel sounds like it could do with real life situations. Does the main character make a big decision?

50x66 You say it has a good ending to the story, but does it have a happy ending? Your book review just want to finish the series already.

50x66 To grow a bond with someone better than anyone else seems like only that person understands your perspective a certain topic. Great book review!

50x66 Imagine to have a parent lost for while. You don’t know his or her whereabouts, until one day you receive a message from a distant location on the other side of the world. The message was sent from your parent and you have no choice, but to answer it. This is Artemis’s new adventure; to find his father and bring him back to safety, in Artemis Fowl: The Artic Incident, by Eoin Colfer. But this is no simple task. Mr. Fowl is kidnapped by a mafia and Artemis has to put his and his butler’s life on the line in order to save the parent that has gone missing for half of his life. I liked the entire novel. It had suspenseful scenes as well as action. Other novels by the same author include Artemis Fowl and the Eternity Code and the rest of the Artemis Fowl Series. This book can be compared to the Percy Jackson Series, because both have magical creatures, and evil antagonists. I recommend this series to pre-teens as well as teens that have a sense of adventure. Will Artemis be able to save his father, or will the Russian Mafiya take his life and leave Artemis’s heart full of hatred, pain, and suffering?

50x66 James Patterson is an amazing writer. Well, when you get older you have more responsibility and that is why other tell you what to do a lot more. Others don't want you messing up. I read Maximum Ride and looking forward to reading this novel.

50x66 It sounds as if the novel tries to spread a lesson or moral. I think that it would be very difficult to do anything with only one hand. Is there a moral that you pick up from the novel?

50x66 To be the first one to graduate from high school? That is a very good goal, and I agree with you, it may not sound like much, but it is a great event. I also agree with Alondra I can also relate to Sonia, in the similar dreams.
Unbroken (3 new)

50x66 I wouldn't be able to forgive those who have tortured me and made me live a life a pain, death, and suffering. And if I were able to forgive them, I would have to truly mean it. I am looking forward to reading Unbroken after I finish the many series I started but never finish.
Lies (1 new)

50x66 Who would think that lies would be dangerous, or even deadly? In Perdido Beach a boy named Edilio was digging holes when he noticed and that there was an overly sized burrow that of which he didn't make. There were scratches on the sides of the hole. Edilio noticed the unbelievable; some came out. He runs to tell the council that someone came out of the hole he had dug days before. At the same time Drake, Sam's nemesis, returns from the dead and walks the earth, and may of the kids in Perdido Beach saw him. Now the only way to keep kids from freaking is to tell them its all a hoax. Will they believe the council, or is all a real nightmare, for Sam and everyone with in the city? I truly like this series! Its hard to put down novel. Its a novel that combines suspense, action, and sci-fi. Stephen King said "I love these books" and I have to agree with him! I recommend this novel and series to teens who like fast pace battles between good and evil. Other books from the series are Gone, Plague, and Hunger. They were all written by Michael Grant. Lies is the best book so far compared to Gone and Hunger, the series gets better with each book.

50x66 Its kind of creepy to communicate with ghosts, but it would be cool. Just imagine, the secrets that have died with them, the stories they would tell. It would be nice to talk to the dead. Does anyone depend on her power?
Artemis Fowl (6 new)

50x66 Its sounds interesting. What will happen if he doesn't recover the lost equipment? Does the fairies world depend on these items?
Nov 14, 2014 12:41PM

50x66 I would be scared to death if that were to happen to me, but fortunately that hasn't happened. I will look forward to reading that novel after I am done with all the Inheritance series.

50x66 Laritza wrote: ""'She’s in love with me, too, you know.' Edward didn't answer. Jacob sighed. 'But she doesn't know it.'" what would you do if there was two people fighting for you and have to choose one? What will..."

I read the entire series and they were just as good as the Percy Jackson series. I hope you enjoy the next book I found it a little Over exaggerated with all the new powers.
Eldest (2 new)
Nov 13, 2014 05:33PM

50x66 What would you do if you were a dragon rider and had all sorts of powers, would you abuse them for evil or for the good of the world? In the novel Eldest by Christopher Paolini, a boy named Eragon and his majestic and loyal sapphire dragon, Saphira, have fought for the Varden, a group of allies and members who fight against Galbatorix, to try to defend the empire from the dark lord's destruction. Eragon has been assigned a to travel to Ellesmera, the Elves City, in order to try and become both a better rider and to use "gramarye" or magic in a stronger way. While in practice of sparring or swordplay, Eragon must face the terrible scar left from the evil shade, Durza. Eragon must practice even though he has seizures and will collapse at any minute. He will face a change that may change his mind and that will alter the way he lives. Will he survive the training and continue fighting the Varden or will he turn forces? I personally found the book very interesting and unlike what I have read so far. If I were to recommend this book to any one it would be teens who have a sense of adventure and who are proficient in reading. Christopher Paolini has made other novel from the Inheritance series like Eragon,Brisingr, and Inheritance. Bookklist said "Unusual powerful...fresh and fluid. An impressive start to a writing career that's sure to flourish". This is a good novel that contains a an adventure throughout each page, and a better novel then the first book in the Inheritance series, Eragon.

50x66 I like humorous books and I bet some of us in middle school can relate to this.

50x66 It is saddening to see any child being abused and I'll look forward to reading novel.

50x66 In the novel titled The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan, Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon, has lost his memory. He finds that he has wound up at camp named Camp Jupiter. He learns that he was sent there to help the Romans and is sent on a quest to get his memory back and to release the Angel of Death from its chains. Will he succeed or will he be destroyed by the hands of Gaea's sons, the giants? I was personally amazed by how well this book was written and I really enjoyed the ending. I recommend this novel and series to teens and to anyone who likes Greek mythology. This as well written as the novel titled Eragon by Christopher Paolini. Other books by the same author are The Lost Hero, The House Of Hades, and The Last Olympian. Will he succeed or will he be destroyed by the hands of Gaea's sons, the giants?

50x66 What if you were in seventh grade and you were a demigod who went to a camp called Camp Half-Blood, and you usaully got attacked by evil monsters who wanted to kill you. But not this year because you wanted to finish the year with out getting attacked or kicked out until you and you homeless friend ,Tyson, got attacked by giants and find out that Camp Half-Blood is being attacked. This is waht thirteen year old Percy Jackson has to go through. He has to go on a dangerous quest to find a way to help the camp barrier replenish it's strength. This was "A fast and funny tale, full of action, wisecracks, and superhuman powers" says KLIATT. The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordian had won the award for A Child Magazine Best Book of the Year! Other books by the same author are The Lightning Thief, The Titans Curse, and The Lost Hero. The Sea of Monsters was one of the best mind blowing novels that I had read from the Percy Jackson series. I reccomend this novel and series to kids and teens who like greek mythology, battles, and magic.
