I read 'The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian' by Sherman Alexie. It was ya-realistic-fiction, and I really enjoyed it!

I've read 30 out of 48 books so far! I'm ahead of schedule. I'm currently reading 'A Walk to Remember' by Nicholas Sparks. It's a book that was published in the 90's (1999).

I'm planning on reading 'One Thousand White Women: The Journals of May Dodd' by Jim Fergus. I believe it should fit this category.

I've changed my book from 'What Alice Forgot' to 'The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue' by V. E. Schwab. I can't wait to read it!

I read 'A Lesson Before Dying' by Ernest S. Gaines. What an excellent book! This is a fictional book about a young black man who is unjustly accused of murder and sentenced to death. A must-read!

I'm changing my book choice to 'Siri, Who Am I?' I just got it for my Kindle from BookBub recently.

I finished 'Chomp' by Carl Hiaasen last night. Carl Hiassen is a Pisces, like I am. I started the book on March 11th, the day before our birthday. Carl Hiassen shares my birthday, and is exactly 10 years older than I am!
Lisa wrote: "I have chosen 'Kindred' by Octavia E. Butlers as my Afrofuturistic book."This book was SO GOOD! I highly recommend it! If you like time travel, you'll love it!

I finished two books. On February 4th, I finished 'Mere Christianity' by C.S. Lewis. On February 5th, I finished 'Tidewater Bride' by Laura Frantz. 'Mere Christianity' was a book that I meant to read last year. 'Tidewater Bride' is a book that was published this year. I've read six books toward my goal of 48 books. I'm currently one book ahead of schedule!

This week I finished 'Mrs. Mike' by Benedict and Nancy Freedman. This fit the category of 'Favorite Prompt from a previous PopSugar Reading Challenge,' which was "A book that makes you nostalgic.' I read 'Mrs. Mike' when I was a teenager, and several times since then. It's one of my favorite books!

My favorite prompt from a previous PopSugar Reading Challenge is " a book the makes you nostalgic." I re-read "Mrs. Mike" by Benedict and Nancy Freedman. I read it when I was a teenager, and I've read it many times. It's one of my favorite books!

'Sense and Sensibility' has been on my to-read list for some time. I plan on reading it for this category, also!

I read 'Wink of an Eye' by Lynn Chandler-Willis. A really good mystery!

I plan on reading 'The Heaven Trilogy' by Ted Dekker for my longest book on my TBR list. It is 1,072 pages! That's because it contains three books, 'Heaven's Wager,' 'Thunder of Heaven,' and 'When Heaven Weeps.' No wonder I haven't read it yet!

I plan on reading 'The Lost Castle' by Kristy Cambron for my book with the prettiest cover. The cover is stunning. The castle, 'The Sleeping Beauty,' is in the background, with pink trees intertwining in the foreground, beckoning the characters to approach.

I plan on reading 'Bad Monkey' by Carl Hiassen for my book with the ugliest cover. The cover has an ugly, scary monkey on the front! I do look forward to reading it, though! LOL

The book that I'll be reading for this category is 'Candle in the Darkness' by Lynn Austin. It has been on my to-read list since July 9, 2014! It's about time that I read it!

I'm planning on reading 'The Book Lover's Guide to New Orleans' by Susan Larson for the book that I associate with a favorite place. My husband and I honeymooned in New Orleans in June, 1988. We had a wonderful honeymoon, and such a good time! I so look forward to reading this book!

This week, I finished 'Big Girl: How I Gave Up Dieting and Got a Life' by Kelsey Miller for the book that discusses Body Positivity. I rated it three stars on Goodreads.
I finished 'Teddy Spaghetti' by Dorothea Benton Frank for the shortest book (by pages) on my TBR list. It was only 32 pages. I rated it five stars on Goodreads.
I'm currently reading 'Wink of an Eye' by Lynn Chandler-Willis for the book with fewer than 1,000 reviews on Goodreads. It's a mystery, and I'm currently 79% complete and thoroughly enjoying it.
I'm also reading 'Mere Christianity' by C.S. Lewis for a from my TBR list that I meant to read last year, but didn't. I'm currently 15% complete with it. I'm reading it more slowly and savoring it.

A book that I plan to read that it seems that everyone else has read is 'The Goldfinch' by Donna Tartt.
