There is no shame in sharing your talents! Don't let anyone tell you different. We have to self promote and network to make a name for ourselves in this business!

Hi Brett, I know how hard it is to juggle a full time Job and family AND try to get a book done. It's no easy task. Might I suggest that you also Join an online writing club, in addition to this one. It's how I started out. It's a great way to meet like minded people and share work. Groups like these eventually led me to do ghost or staff writing for publishing houses. I did that before writing my first book. It was a great experience and I got to work with some pretty successful Writers. You can do anything you set your mind too. Try these links as well,

And of course here I would be happy to help you with your stories as well.

114122 BTW, the key is networking, creating an author platform, and promoting with out spaming. This can be done through getting other bloggers/authors to do interviews and promotional spotlights. Make sure to use blogs that typically promote the same genre. All you need is a network support group of Authors who share blog space and time. It's a give and take business. Remember the more traffic blogs get the more readers will discover your work. Email me and I will send you what ever I can to help you.

114122 I can help you. I have two blogs, I will promote you via FB and ask my author friends to promo and share through their pages. Here is my email. emmapaul041@gmail.com. Send me a blurb, excerpt and cover. I will do a spotlight on my StreetCorner blog for you so we can start there. I will also send you links to Twitter and FB. Also I'm part of a romance yahoo group that promotes new releases. I have a list of promotional links that are free and do a great job promoting through Twitter and FB for you. Let's get your book out to the public! So excited for you!

Welcome Lily, thank you for joining. This group also encourages readers to beta and critique works in process by our authors. You are very welcomed to participate. My beta reader is also a member, she is one of my harshest critics and I love her for it. Please don't be afraid to be honest with your critiques. Also, if you are a writer and would like to learn about publishing your work, we have great authors here as you pointed out, who I'm sure would be glad to support you with that goal. Please make your self at home and enjoy the group.

114122 Hello everyone, I'm catching up on group updates. I'd like to thank and welcome all the new members! Please feel free to introduce your self. FYI, my publisher is always looking for new talent. The senior editor is an award winning writer in her own right, many of us have been featured in USA Today. Just a bit of background. ;) Please post your stories or message me directly. We do have Page Turner Editions, that caters to our mainstream audience. The do both electronic and print books. 30 years plus of literary experience. (Sorry for the pitchy post) I'm not trying to sell the publisher, just letting potential newbies know that it's a reputable company. Again welcome all new readers, writers, and reviewers to the group. Please list any books you think the group would like to read in our book list.
