The guide book is just a little hard to follow. The meanings are written mostly in metaphors, with the final line actually giving the clear message. There's only a few lines in each of the 64 card meanings. Which at first disappointed me, but the I looked at the REAL I Ching meanings and they seem to be about the same in length and meaning. So, if you want a an easy way of reading the I Ching, appreciate Chinese artwork, or just want a nice deck, this is for you.

The guidebook is bound with a nice card cardboard. Card meanings are well written and easy to read. Thumbs up for the book, but down for the artwork. It could have been so much better.

The guidebook is bound in a sturdy cardboard. Individual card meanings are shorter than usual, but pretty clear. It comes in an cute, sturdy little box. This deck seldom gets requested when I do readings. The name I think also throws people off as well as the size. I have to give it a reluctant 5, only because my personal tastes and needs would like it to be bigger.

The guidebook, which I was supplied with from the actual publisher, is very well written and easy to read and comprehend. The individual card meanings run 3 pages long each, but is very detailed and informative. I do readings for others, and while I personally enjoy this deck (I have 20 oracle decks), I don't get requests for readings from this deck as frequently as I believe it should. I only gave it a 4 just because there's something about the deck that just doesn't click with me personally. I can't quite pinpoint what it is. Others might find it a 5.

The guide book is informative. Each card meaning is given on two pages. The style is very laid back and easy to understand. Yet, I find the way the meanings are written and formatted, I personally find it hard to read aloud.

The guidebook is well written for the most-part. Some of the card meanings seem to talk more about the archetype on the card than on the relevance to the card whom it's drawn for. Trying to read the meanings aloud is sometimes awkward and difficult due to the writing style.
