Oh my goodness that sounds like it would be quite the story!! But what a sad ending with missing books!

I read The Hangman's Daughter and enjoyed it immensely. I'm currently reading The Dark Monk and also enjoying. I agree these types of titles are somewhat dull, but the cover of The Hangman's Daughter is what originally intrigued me, and I have no regrets for, in that instance, 100% judging a book by its cover haha!
