1154639 Started this book this morning, and wow. It immediately grips the reader with twisted scenes of the book's bad guys. I was instantly drawn in. Strong racial overtones are at work in this book from the first page. It fits the era well and is a very good glimpse of attitudes and views of the mis-1980s.

After reading a horrendously bad Star Wars book, Claudia Gray's Into the Dark debacle, it is a breath of fresh air to be reading a novel by a proper author.

I am very glad I picked this book up. I have an old mass market paperback. But, I am reading it on Kindle.

1154639 I am glad you dropped by. Page Turning is a place for you to get a mini version of Good Reads. Sometimes, the site as a whole can be a bit too much. You may not need all of the information, feeds, comments, and other minutia the full site provides. You may plop down here and engage in a more intimate conversation about what you are reading, what you want to read, or what you have read. You may even come here and talk television, movies, or your dog.

You are welcome here. Think of Page Turning as a small group of friends where you are not going to be lost among the clamoring voices. Join us in our page turning journeys and share your with us. If you like the place, tell a friend. In the meantime, enjoy.
