Clem!! I almost didn’t recognize your profile change! Nice!!

Woo hoo! So glad she let you do it since it’s so close to you <3 you’ll do great, let us know how the presentation goes!!

For sure. You could always give him a section and then edit afterwards. Don’t let him know you’ll help with it until he’s finished though. I know how you feel though, I have a ton of trouble letting other people do work on group projects 🙃

Do you go to school in person or will you see her on a call before it’s due? I’d say continue to work on the project studying the disease you want to, and then whenever you see her, state your case. I’m not saying to necessarily disobey your teacher, but I think you could turn in the project the way you have it unless she replies to your messages saying no again. Definitely praying for you, and I’d recommend praying that you make the right choice. Did she give any specific reasons for why you can’t choose it? I’m really upset for you, sorry about the situation!!

Def praying for you!! Hope everything is ok

But yeah I wouldn’t recommend doing it on your own (I know that sounds the easiest, and I’d be tempted too) but I think it’s an important lesson for both of you to learn (especially him) that you can’t just let a disagreement stop you from working together. If he was doing that at a work place, he wouldn’t get anywhere, so he needs to learn that he can’t just let something petty keep him from doing work. Stepping up and making him do some work (maybe assigning him a part and saying you absolutely will not do it) will really help out, and the lesson will be valuable later.

That is such a tough situation, Harvest. Praying for you. I’d say talk to him and ask him if you can put the differences behind you and focus on the project. Maybe apologize for how you let him down if it wasn’t nice, but don’t apologize FOR letting him down. I’m proud of you for saying no. It’s definitely helpful (and can be hard) to have your mom there to back you up and believe what you say. I’d definitely say go to her for advice if you’re comfortable. Tell the boy it’s just one project and that you shouldn’t let your differences get between you and you should just push through until you’re done. I know this isn’t the best advice, but hopefully you can take something from it!

Could I have a book called Carrlene’s Corner?

Praying for you too, that’s rough!! How long is recovery?

Yeah I think she said a while ago that she wasn’t supposed to. I could be wrong though

She said she had a bike accident but she seemed ok after that so it’s probably a different reason

Dang, I hope she’s ok. Remember that accident she was telling us about? I’m not sure it’s true but if it is, I hope that’s not the reason she deleted her account. Maybe she just got in trouble for having one or something

We should see if someone who’s not in the group can still find her profile. Lemon? Can you see if Silver’s profile is still up?

Ooh here’s a fun one. It’s simple but I had fun with it. Write the story of a deer caught in the headlights from the perspective of the deer

Oh no!! Is it because we didn’t mod her in Word Nerds? I don’t see her messages either

Ooh, great idea!! Forget Me Not by Ellie Terrie and 100 Days of Sunlight I’d recommend! Planning on reading 100 Days this summer and Forget me Not is one of my favs

I’d love to help as well! We could get on a schedule where each mod has a specific day/days of the week that they put out a poll

Yeah, I think 40 members would be a great time to add you to the team!! we don’t want to overcrowd the mod squad when there aren’t enough members, but I can’t wait for you to join us. Like Harvest said, you’ll be at the top of our lists whenever we gain enough members

Oh my goodness that’s the worst!!! I’m so thankful you’re alive, I’ll be praying for you I hope you feel better!!!

That’s a great idea!! I think it’s a great and inventive way to get people active and allow them to share their writing and get advice
