Sometimes I wonder if what Gautam Buddha, Jesus Christ, Ram Mohan Roy and many other great souls did was not a rebellion in some way. They did their work silently but the changes it brought raised lot of hue and cry. So can change be brought in silently? Change disturbs most of us I guess and we mostly respond negatively to someone else trying to change our way of life or thinking. I feel most rebellions acquire violence because of refusal of others to accept the changes being sought to be brought in. Perhaps.

It must be more than just desire to being heard. It must be the wish to bring a change - when all other means fail. Rebellion always means sacrifice and that never comes easily or naturally to human beings.
