116885 I have been obsessed with Alien Earth, even the soundtrack! No, I did not spring for Hulu. Try The Flixer friends.

116885 I live near a military base. Sounds like peace lillies at the base of a flag would not be unwarranted.

116885 I wasn’t sure whether I liked it or not.

116885 I stopped going there years ago. Those jerks always walk through the aisle with bills near the end of the movie - always at the best part!

116885 So Burns Us Both by Lisse Kirk ★★★★★
I ugly cried in public reading this. Sitting, waiting for my tire to be fixed, and crying.

116885 The Dragon’s Cat by Jody Lynn Nye ★★★½☆
A sugary D&D style story I enjoyed reading. The description of the Cat Distribution System was heartwarming.

116885 It was a well reported agony casting Harry the first time around.

While I would put John Lithgow as one of the greatest actors of our time, I think JK’s original rule of an all British cast had merit. This is could be some strange woke dumpster fire.

116885 Even if it’s terrible I will go see it. You know I didn’t get the whole Druish princess jokes until I went to college in upstate NY, lol.

Did that list say a Harry Potter TV series?

116885 Well, meaning is something you give. “New wave style” sounds generous.

116885 “Repent, Harlequin!” Said the Ticktockman by Harlan Ellison ★★★☆☆
“…but you can’t make an omelette with out breaking a few eggs, and in every revolution, a few die who shouldn’t, but they have to…”
A depressing little jaunt into a time card dependent future.

The Doors of His Face, The Lamps of His Mouth by Roger Zelazny ★★★☆☆
Two divorced trust fund babies use an aircraft carrier on Venus to fish for a dinosaur and find closure in their relationship.

Balanced Ecology by James H. Schmitz ★★★★☆
“The only defense against Man was Man. Understanding that, it had laid its plans.”
It reminded me of Avatar, the sentient alien forest welcomed humans into their ecological balance but was always ready for threats.

116885 He doesn’t look like superman to me. I haven’t watched a Superman movie since the Routh disappointment.

116885 I have a long walk T-Shirt I wear on long walks. Everyone who read The Stand felt it on 2020. Plus every time I hear Blue Oyster Cult.

116885 It was startling to see it in film. It was a great book but I thought it would be too sad and narrow for a film.
