I'm working my way through the lunar chronicles and ever since reading cinder I've started to love retellings! a big fan of acotar and the dorothy must die series by danielle paige which is a post-wizard of oz story

I've always had a rough relationship w my parents (perfect one minute, trainwreck the next) so books became an escape from my toxic house along w coping with some childhood trauma

when miscommunication leads to the couple having issues like,,,growing up in a family where miscommunication is huge and causes tons of problems all the time I hate seeing that "romanticized"
