Wow! I googled her and she did make some very good points. Especially with these times of the board of education being threatened to get shut down. Reading banned books is even more important and keeping all of these books in the fore front.

I follow this teacher on Tick Tock, her name is MrsDeckerReads, she is a high school teacher and she is hard at work getting her kids reading. I love her videos, go follow her if you are so inclined. I’m not sure if she has an Instagram page but she is on Tic Tock and she has great recommendations!!

Well that’s crazy, and I didn’t know Pinkalicious was a book, I’ve only watched the cartoon.

I agree to a certain point, she definitely isn’t the star, since we all know this is Sloan’s book, but Kristen is a very important part in Sloans book. The two of them have known each other since they were kids, they grew up together and know each other inside and out.

This one part, when Jason and Sloan were at Kristen and Josh’s house for dinner, and they did that Doritos bag thing, I was like, no way!!! This was not in The Friend Zone, which, I get, since the first book was technically written after the third book and Abby probably had no intention s on needing the first book. But I didn’t like it.

To me, Kristen sounded meaner, if that makes sense. Granted, she was very protective of Sloan, which she should be, and I can’t put my finger on any particular thing, but she was just mean. Kristen loved Brandon as well and I know she wanted the absolute best for Sloan, especially with her not being alone, but her insistence on telling Sloan to climb him like a tree didn’t sound like Kristen to me.

What I absolutely loved, was once Jason and Sloan got married and they were coming off the road, I loved that the two families were going to live next to each other and raise their kids together, I’m glad Abby made that part work out in book 2. Overall I loved both books and I’m not really mad about it, I could just tell the differences.

Thank you Lea! I do agree that both books do read as stand alones, but after reading The Friend Zone, you really want to know what happens with Sloan after Brandon passes away. I definitely caught things in Sloans book that didn’t appear in Kristen’s book, and to me, Kristen was slightly different in Sloans book, but I still loved her!

I’m excited to read book 3 whenever I get the book! 😬

It’s going great! I finished it this morning!!! 😂😂

I listened to it pretty much all day on Sunday and just had about 2 hrs left that I finished this morning.

And of course I loved it!!!!

Yay Lea, I’m so glad you found her, she is so so down earth and her videos are so fun. She also owns a bakery in her home town, I don’t know if anyone ever watched Cupcake Wars on the Food Network but she did compete on that show, I think twice.
