Woot!!! You have been o..."I liked The Golden Compass, but I didn't love it; I don't think I will continue with that series, but I'm glad I read it.
Alondra wrote: "Hey Jami,
Just checking in to see how the challenge is coming along.
You are half-way there!"Thanks for checking in! It also reminded me that I needed to do an update to this list; I haven't done it since May and I have done some reading since then!

I was disappointed that This House Is Not for Sale was not the novel that it is billed as, but rather, a collection of short stories. That being said, I enjoyed most of the stories, including the fable aspect contained in most of them.
Alondra wrote: "Kudos on knocking out your first book already, Jami!"Thanks! I was hoping to get another in February, but other books got in the way!!! :) At least they were all really good books!!!!!
Ioana wrote: "Great idea, I am trying something similar too this year. I'm actually reading now my 1st book added in 2011, and I'm enjoying it.

Lea wrote: "I love your approach! I finally read The Golden Compass myself a few years ago and enjoyed the series. Bill wrote: "I'm also doing a Dusty book challenge. It's a great idea to get at those books that have been left languishing. Enjoy 2025."Thanks, and good luck with yours as well! I like your description of your challenge - more creative than mine!
Alondra wrote: "Nice list and great idea. I loved His Dark Materials; still think about the ending of the trilogy every now and then. I hope you enjoy it.
Good luck and happy reading, Jami"Thanks! His Dark Materials is one of my few remaining "Alondra's Fault" books!!!! I need to start stalking your reviews again! :)

I am following the same format as last year, as it worked well in helping me get to some books that have long languished on my TBR; I really enjoyed most of them and it gave me a good variety of books. The first 12 are my oldest for each year on my TBR - luckily it starts in 2013, so I have exactly 12 years!
