Apocalyptic Apes



A collection of 8,888 Post Apocalypse themed Chimp NFTs. A derivative collection of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, coming back in time to help prevent the future from which they came.

Story

For many years humans ruled the world, consumed its resources, and fought each other over its bountiful land. It got so bad that eventually every river became a cesspool of filth, littered with discarded plastics and waste from their greed for wealth and unquenchable consumerism. Eventually things got so bad, they ended up destroying themselves. Their unsatisfying greed for more lead the leaders of nations to battle one with another all the while the pollution continued to grow. Between the waste and chemical warfare being waged, new diseases were introduced. Cities were laid waste by nuclear weapons. Humanity became the critically endangered dragging along most other life with it.

This is the world from which our Apocalyptic Apes emerge. A dingy apocalyptic era where food is hard to find, air is hard to breathe, and any sign of life is scarce. Regular Apes began to mutate, and MAYC#6990 (owned by one of the founders of the Apocalyptic Apes) grew mushrooms out of his head, neck, and ears. He was fed up, and decided it was time that he took matters into his own hands.

He assembled the Apocalyptic Apes and unlocked the secretes of Time Travel. They now prepare to travel back in time to prevent the demise of the world and to prevent the future they know as reality.

By minting an ape, you are successfully helping them spawn into our world and contribute to the cause of cleaning our seas, reducing our usage of harmful plastics, and helping the endangered species of the planet.

Bricktopians




Bricktopians are preposterous. To create the collection, the team behind it spent months creating an AI that is capable of reinterpreting custom characters using over 50 different brick types, at a scale of 10,000 in full 3D, and moving into 4D as part of their roadmap.

This is not a 3D collection where different shapes are slotted in through layering. Every single Bricktopian is unique, with each one being simulated individually from a new selection of bricks.

In order to create this, they had to work with computer scientists and engineers just to create the supercomputer infrastructure necessary to produce 10,000 Bricktopians.

4D Serum Phase

Bringing your Bricktopians to life
As one of the first milestones in their roadmap, all Bricktopians will be upgraded to be animated in 4D. We have seen NFTs that have slight movements or rotations, but this is the first collection where every NFT will have personalized variances in its physics simulation, making animations unique between each Bricktopian.

This will create a ‘second reveal’ event, in which new layers of rarity will be added to the NFTs, with some animation categories being rarer than others.

Every collector will of course also be given access to still images of their NFT for use across the internet, such as in profile pictures and merchandise.

The Bricktoforge

New upgrades and decreasing supply over time.
Following the launch, we will be creating the ‘BricktoForge’, a mechanism that allows collectors to unlock new rare animations for their Bricktopians.

In order for collectors to upgrade their favourite Bricktopian NFTs, they will have to ‘burn’ other Bricktopians through the forge, decreasing the total circulating supply and making their own Bricktopian more unique.

Upgrades will only be available during limited time events. Once these events are completed the upgrades will never be available again, increasing their rarity.

Today I will be talking about a project called Dubaipeeps




DubaiPeeps is the first Dubai Community NFT Collection that was handcrafted (not generated) as an homage to the people of Dubai. The collection holds a total of only 1000 single edition pieces which will gradually be released.

*All of our characters are fictional and do not relate to, or represent an individual or entity.

Rarity and specific attributes are as follows:

770 "Regular Characters" which hold different attributes (jewelry, hats, glasses, make-up, wild hair etc.) to determine their rareness. Each of these characters come with one out of four Dubai Skyline backgrounds.

200 "Special Editions" which stand out through certain visual characteristics or hold a further meaning. These characters come with a plain background.

30 "Masterpieces" which are extremely scarce that come with a "Special Edition" background signed by the DubaiPeeps artist PRM

Facebook changing to Meta. The ideas about a virtual world… remember Ready Player One it’s all happening already!

A long list. Virtual land… yes and it’s worth millions. Adidas, Nike, Channel, and more have bought land inside. This is the new reality.
It’s a new world, and with this new world is a stream of opportunities.
Think of musicians cutting ties with music labels were they get 20% of all sales, and going instead into selling their labels as NFT, and getting 100% of the sales. Also the buyer, he will get a numbered edition of that particular album on the blockchain, that they can sell later on.
Think a bit what if authors do that? More benefits for both readers and authors. Yes think about it!

A non-fungible token is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a blockchain, a form of digital ledger. NFTs can be associated with reproducible digital files such as photos, videos, and audio.

What do I as an author have to do with NFT?

Like all fans of artists, sportsmen, brands, cooks, or about anyone you can think of, readers are also entitled to get more from an author other than physical or digital books. Imagine getting exclusive Nfts, news, airdrops related to the author you follow, or from a book you love and cherish. That's why I have started to venture in this new and exciting world.
