The story of an early 20s Jersey undergraduate who moves to New York City to escape the social stigma of a false sexual accusation, A Beautiful World confronts difficult themes of loss, trauma, racism, gender dynamics, revenge, the fallout from miscommunication, and the social perpetuation of violence. But at its heart is a tale of learning how to move on, about the impossibility of going "home."
