11 books ahead of schedule
I've read 6 novellas (200 pages or less)lately though and I'm now reading some chunksters to make up for that, so I think it's bye bye to being ahead ;)

Earlier this year I read
The Crimson Petal and the White and
Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell and now I'm going to read
The Eye of the World again. It's been years since I read the series and I still haven't read the last 3, so I think it's time I started reading all again. I used to buy the books when published and re-reading the whole series from the beginning with each new one, but stopped when the author died.

More sadness and anger as I'm reading
The House at the End of Hope Street but also lots of happy things happening luckily. I'm tempted to add this book to my book club choices for next week. Not sure if it's for everyone there, but I love it :)

Since I'm reading a lot of books that have 100 pages or less at the moment, I feel I have to make up for that by reading something a bit more substantial ;) I'll go and check my 'to read' list.

Put 3 new books in my 'currently reading' list.
The book I started today is
. I really like this one. Find it hard to put down. Magical, sweet and warm. Sadness, but with the promise of happiness.
The third book is
Really looking forward to reading this too, but first I'm diving back into the world of Hope Street :)

Yesterday I finished reading
Death Comes to TownIt was okay, likable characters, but not much depth. Okay mystery. Afterwards I wanted to read more from this author, so I bought the 6 book Kindle bundle for 2.45. Not a bad price for 6 novellas. I finished the second book just now. Mists of the past.
I liked this a bit better than the first book, though it was a somewhat predictable. I would really like to learn more about why the MC has the abilities she has and know a bit more about other characters.
Now I need to decide what to read next. So much choice, what a luxury problem to have :)

Thank you :) I really liked that book. The humor, the people in it, seeing Spain through their eyes. Maybe it was a bit short. I was therefore really looking forward to reading Two Old Fools Ole, but that one I didn't like as much. Too many emails that were listed and letters and tweets, it felt like she needed to fill the book and didn't know how. The first book was really far better in my opinion.

Thank you :) 57 books and only a few I didn't really like. I finished reading
Charms and Chocolate Chips yesterday and loved it.
Liking the Rosie Project so far, but I wonder if it'll be able to keep me entertained or if I'll get bored of hearing Sheldon Cooper's voice in my head ;)
I started reading
last night and like it a lot. The Kindle version was free on Amazon UK. I think I may need to buy the other books. I'll read a bit more first though.

My goal is to read at least 125 books this year. So far I've read 57 and I'll just post the link instead of listing them all.
https://www.goodreads.com/user_challe...I try not to read too many novellas, but there are some in my list. Usually when they're part of a series.
At the moment I'm reading
and I'm going to start reading
The Rosie Project is for the book club I'm a member of and our next meeting is soon, so I'll have to hurry ;)

I just finished my first book of 2014
Welcome to My World

My first books of this year are
The Child ThiefThe Mists of AvalonReal Vampires Know Size MattersJonathan Strange & Mr NorrellAnd as soon as Deborah Harkness' third All Souls book is out, I'll read that too. Can't wait for that. I loved her first two books.

Last year I read 105 books and this year my goal is again 100 books.

Thank you Faye! (love your name :) )
And thank you Amber (more lovely names :) )

Hello everyone :)
My name is Dymphna, I'm from the East Midlands and (funnily enough ;) ) I love reading. I like to read different genres, but my favourites are Fantasy, Paranormal chick-lit and (paranormal) mysteries. I can't wait for the new reading challenge to start, although I have no idea yet which books I shall be reading. One of them will definitely be Deborah Harkness' final book of the All Souls Trilogy.
