2023 has been a year of profound changes for me, some very positive and others a bit less, but that's life. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the 2023 Goodreads reading challenge; I missed it by just one book. Nevertheless, I'm still pleased to have read almost 30 volumes, despite the numerous academic and work commitments.

I hope that this 2024 brings a lot of serenity to everyone, world peace, and greater emotional stability which we all need, some more than others.

One of my resolutions for this new year is to be more active in this group, that I care so much about.

1182386 Almost completed Visions of Heat, paranormal/fantasy romance... an easy read, so far I'd say 3.5 stars out of 5, we'll see about the ending!

As you said, he really expanded the fantasy/high fantasy genre like no one else did in literature history.

I went missing for a couple of weeks, real life is complicated to say the least and, honestly, my mental health is not always in a good place.
I'm in a reading slump as well, due to The Historian: this book is great... the pace not so much!
