Hey Paul! Maybe try to grab the audiobook from our Library (or Audible)? I'm listening to this one and reading it too which is helping me stay engaged. I like the different formats and the audiobook narrator is great!

We watched the mini TV series a few weeks ago on Peacock. It was very well done, close to the novel."

I will! I forgot it was a show on Peacock! I'll have to read that soon so I can give the show a try! I've been looking for something new to watch but I'm a pretty "book then show/movie" person.

Thanks Christine! I'll have to check those out too! I have a copy of Angels & Demons, but I think that's the only other one I own.

If you had to rank them can you put these in order from best to worst? Da Vinci Code leads then what? I'd like to read something else but don't want to be disappointed!

Thoroughly enjoying the pacing of this book, the ploy and Lisa, you did a GREAT job breaking each day into nicely sized chunks!! I'm reading multiple books at once and this is really easy to keep up with.

Still curious if anyone has read any of Brown's other books? I know this won't be my last!
1182832 I have to admit, I am LOVING The Da Vinci Code. For some reason I thought I was going to be very confused reading this (or even bored) but I am absolutely loving every minute of this! Has anyone else read other Brown books? Very curious to hear your thoughts - is this the best or are the others as equally as enjoyable?
1182832 I'm going to try to keep pace with the chapters that Lisa created BUT I'm curious, has anyone here been to Paris or Europe? I, personally, have never been but reading this (and VE Schwab's Cassidy Blake books) really makes me want to visit Paris now!

I just watched The Da Vinci Code movie this weekend, and I think I would not have understood everything that was going on in the book..."

I saw The Da Vinci Code years ago when it first came out (didn't even realize it was a book at the time). I was SO confused watching it. My girlfriend at the time was really into it but I had no idea what was going on. I vaguely remember some of the details as I'm reading now, so it's helping me to piece it all together!

1182832 Hey Everyone! Wanted to pop in, say hi and introduce myself. I'm Shawn (aka Mr Geek from www.TreatYoShelf.blog) and I'll be helping Lisa of Troy out with this read-along. I love to read and tend to gravitate more towards thrillers, mysteries, fantasy and YA (but I'll read almost anything). I've been wanting to read The Da Vinci Code for years and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to make that happen! Feel free to send me a friend request on here, add me on Twitter or follow my blog - would love to stay connected with everyone! Looking forward to chatting with you all more soon!
