It wasn't long before Wesley got a reaction from Roxanne. It was less than he wished for but nonetheless seeing her hand move was an additional sign of life. He saw her breathing but that extra movement, he hoped, was triggered by his attempts of waking her. He tried once more, grabbing her right shoulder and giving it a small shake. He didn't want to hurt her, to cause her more pain than she might already be in.

But it was no use, she wasn't responding and before he could try anything else a wire above him snapped and sparked, falling to the middle aisle. It wasn't safe for them to be in the plane, he needed to get her out. He quickly unbuckled her seat belt and reached husband behind her head to make sure he would be able to lift her without her being in a bad position. As soon as he touched the back of her head he could feel the warm blood that had collected there. He brought out his hand and saw the red pigmentation already staining it. Wes gritted his gritted his teeth, fearing that he might be too late, that Roxanne may fall victim to the plane crash like the others.

He carefully slid his hands under her thighs and behind her back, he slowly lifted her up, making sure her limbs weren't caught in anything like his leg had been. He pulled limp body close to his chest and looked around first before moving toward the large opening the plane crash had made. The room looked brighter now and the smell of rain still wafted into the room. But the one thing he made sure to take note of was the hanging wire cables that would snap at each other if they touched. He was sure that the plane no longer had any power to it, but the left over charge must still be lingering.

Wesley proceeded to move, taking one step at a time with Roxanne in his arms. He failed to look down st her, more concerned of not falling than to see if she was going to open her eyes anytime soon. When he reached the edge of the plane he stopped, his surroundings caught him off guard. Nothing but thick trees consumed the area around him, it was apparent that they had crashed landed in a jungle. And he didn't know what was out there, he could guess but he didn't want to stay too long to find out. Thankfully Wesley was able to step onto the ground rather than jump off. The plane was tilted slightly that he was on the better half of it. Waiting until he took several steps from the dismantled plane he set Roxanne down onto the dirt, careful to not hit her head. Lifting it to take a better look he saw that the blood was coming from a small opening, smaller than what he had been imagining. A sigh of relief escaped his lips but he started to feel the pain in his leg again now that his adrenaline of trying to get Roxanne out of the plane was diminishing.

The bleeding needed to be stopped one way or another, and with the light he was able to see some bruises that had formed. Wesley took his sweater off that he had been wearing, leaving only his black t-shirt, and placed it under Roxanne's head. With some pressure the bleeding would stop soon, he had gotten a couple of scratches and cuts in his young adult life to know that much. Once that was settled Wesley attempted to wake her again, calling out her name, "Come on, don't leave me hanging here, you need to wake up!" This time he said it a little louder, he knew she might just need time, her wounds that he could see weren't detrimental to her life but he didn't know what kind of internal injuries she had.

((Your prior post had made perfect sense :) ))

Wesley felt his entire back ache as soon as he came to and wondered if he was close to dying. The impact of the crash had made him unconscious but the moments just before were a complete blur to him. He remembered being in an argument with one of the passengers up there in first class where he had originally been sitting. And then being sent to sit in the back of the plane where the flight attendants could keep an eye on him as well as separated from the other passenger. The pain in his body returned him back to his present situation feeling like his entire body was going to break. For a moment Wesley just stayed there in his seat, taking a chance to look around, the air felt cold, his vision was blurred by the smoke around him but he couldn't see a lot of movement. Was he the only one alive? The only one that had survived the plane crash?

Staying quiet was the best thing to do right now, he closed his eyes and heard the sound of birds around him and the cool wind coming from the opening of the plane. Everything smelled like damp moss, and suddenly he could hear the sound of footsteps. He barely opened his eyes to see a figure of a man walking around several seats in front of him. Followed by a shriek of a woman, he was now certain and relieved that he wasn't the only one left alive. This insight gave him a little bit of strength to get up and start moving, he refrained from calling out to anyone and decided to stay quiet. He felt like his voice would penetrate the silence of the plane and somehow make matters worse.

He unbuckled the seat belt that had securely kept him from flying out of his seat and tried to get up. But as soon as he did he was unable to pull his leg out, it was caught underneath the chair in front of him that had been deformed due to the crash. He reached down and felt where he needed to move, carefully he pushed the seat away from him and the hinges that secured the seat loosened just enough for his leg to slip out. He could feel his foot throbbing even more now but more than that, he felt this dire need to get out.

Being amongst an area filled with lifeless bodies was making him feel sick, and faint. He had never seen a dead body before and felt like he couldn't come to terms with what had just happened. He was on his way to California for a surfing competition, a plane crash was something that shouldn't happen. In all of his years of traveling he had felt safe, he had read the manuals in cases of emergency but always slept on the plane and when he awoke it was over and he was on land. He was on land now, but in a place that he was unfamiliar with, perhaps they had landed in some different country. They could still get help, people would come to find them and they would get out of here, at least the people who were still alive.

Wesley got up from where he was sitting and stepped out into the aisle, he tried to keep his head up but he needed to look around to make sure he got out of the plane safely. He took a couple steps and then saw a familiar face, that of Roxanne, the girl that was going to be in the same surfing competition as him. He had seen her sitting back here on his way to the back of the plane, he had tried back then to ignore her gaze. But now he wanted more than anything for her to be alive, a familiar face, a familiar voice, he wished for anything than being alone in the current situation. "Roxanne, are you alright, you need to wake up," he said with gentle shoves. If that wasn't going to work he would proceed to wake her by other means, for now he saw he chest slowly rising and falling. She was alive and he needed her to get up, he wouldn't exit out of the plane's crash opening with out her.

The seat belt sign lit up as soon as the plane started to toss the passengers in their seats. Tyler had heard a couple of people falling and yelling as the winds grew stronger and the plane started to plummet to the ground. It wasn't long before the emergency oxygen masks were triggered. He thought of reaching up to one but as he extended his arm the lady beside him unbuckled her seat belt and tried to get up. She yelled out that her husband was in the back, panic screaming through her voice that mimicked the others. She tried to climb over Tyler but the plane jerked again which made her slam against the side of the plane.

Horror continued to fill the room, there was so much noise that the captain's announcement was drowned out. "We're going to die, I need to get my phone," a man shouted, as he got up he fumbled to reach the overhead bins that held the carry on luggage. As soon as the passenger opened it all of the luggage inside flew out, one large suitcase in particular struck Tyler square in the head. He tried to fight back the many dots that appeared in his vision, the slight feeling of warm blood on the side of his head. But the darkness consumed him, his mind going blank and the crash of the plane disappearing into the recesses of his unconscious mind.

Tyler was awakened by a violent shake that made his body react faster than his brain could process. He still felt like he was in the middle of the plane plummeting to the sea and reached out to the closest thing to him for stability. But as he focused on the thing he just grabbed onto he saw that it wasn't a thing but a person. He shook his head, regretting it right after wards because it only made his head hurt more. He wanted to fall back to an unconscious state, his entire body ached and he started to close his eyes to turn away from his blurry vision. Another forceful shove followed and he opened his eyes again, "Wake up, come on, get up! We have to go!"

The woman in front of him instructed him, sounding like a plea and he furrowed his brows to focus. It was the girl he had seen earlier at the airport. The one who he had spoken with at check in when she was having trouble with her passport. She was here, in front of him, trying to save his life. Tyler looked around him, lifeless bodies were to his left and right. He could see little movement coming from the front of the plane, toward an open exit that had just been made.

He coughed a couple of times, the smoke from the gas fumes and the debri had already penetrated his lungs. He focused back on the girl, making him snap out of his distraught state of mind. He quickly reached down to his waist, grabbing at the seat belt and snapped it off. He got up with shaky legs, using both the back of the chair and the girl who woke him for support. Once he was up and out of the chair his adrenaline kicked in and he was finally able to speak, "Let's go," he said in urgency feeling like there wasn't time to assess the damage of the situation. His body felt stiff, he ached all over but he had to push past the pain.

Everything around him was going in and out of focus, the only thing that helped him was the voice of the girl that he could hear. Even though he was now able to stand on his own, Tyler couldn't ignore the throbbing pain that echoed on the side of his skull. He started to walk toward the opening, following after the girl until he saw something familiar on the floor. "Wait," he shouted out and reached down to pick up his green duffle bag that must had fallen from the overhead bins during the crash. He swung it over his shoulder and continued toward the exit made from the crash.

His first intention is to make a good impression, he lives off of his reputation. His fans love him for his crazy tricks, his go getter attitude and willingness to do anything even if it is dangerous. Recognizably known for his list of women that he has dated before, he isn't shy to compliment a pretty woman when he sees one. His flirtatious attitude disappears the moment he sets foot in the ocean on his surf board. His only escape from the publicity is the one thing that has earned him fame. Unable to admit defeat, unable to take no for answer, persistent and prideful.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Wesley's mother, Jeanette, was a twenty two year old girl vacationing in Florida after she had graduated from New Mexico university when she met his father. Wesley's father, Carlos Alavar was a man with money, he was twenty five and he had just inherited his Father's company the year before due to his early passing at the age of forty five. Carlos and Jeanette met at a party being held on the beach and danced all night long with each other. She left her friends and returned back to his beachside cabin where they conceived a child together that night. For the remainder of her vacation they spent every day and night with each other, she fell for this man that she felt like was her escape before returning home to a life that promised her a teacher job at a high school. On the last day of her stay in Miami, Jeanette found out she was pregnant. Upon revealing this news to Carlos he responded with a kiss and a ring, he had already been planning to propose to her.

The couple stayed in Miami together, with hardly any plans to rush a wedding. Merely having the engagement ring on her finger made the whole world perfect, especially with a growing baby inside of her. Carlos bought a house in Miami, close enough to be by the party life but safe enough to raise their son. As soon as Wesley was born he was cared for by his mother and father equally. Growing up he received a rich lifestyle, and his parents fostered a carefree attitude to his life. As a young boy in middle school he would come home late from hanging out with his friends but he would find only his mother home. She always had dinner ready for him and his dad, his mother sitting quietly with her hands clasped, the same engagement ring on her finger that had yet to be replaced with a wedding ring. His father however would never return before midnight, Carlos was now in his mid thirties and complained that he wasn't getting younger, he needed to feel alive before he died.

Wesley could remember clearly the arguments that his parents threw back at each other, until he had enough and every time they fought he would go out to the beach. It was so often that as Wes spent his time by the beach he would see people surfing out in the ocean every day. He watched their lives, their rhythm that flowed with the waves. One young man noticed Wes' constant appearance there and started inviting him with his group of friends. That group was a local team preparing for surfing competitions and they taught Wes how to get on a surf board. Every day he would practice with them, trying not to get in their way until one day he could even keep up with them.

He was in high school when their coach asked Wesley to enter into the state competition. His skills had improved greatly over the years, he had never seen someone practice with so much vigor before. And his talent hadn't been left unnoticed after his win at the state level, especially by the other students at his school. People would go and watch his team practice, he gained popularity with the girls as well and found girls confessing their feelings to him. He remained reserved however, focused on his surfing until one day he went home after his graduation. His graduation party was the next day but he found his mother packing all of her belongings into a suitcase, tears streaming down her face. She came over and hugged him, something she seldom did, and left without saying another word. Wesley wasn't left in confusion, he had seen this happening any day now, he wasn't blind to the constant fights over the years.

On the day of his graduation party it served as a dual purpose as a farewell party. He had been selected by a team in Australia to join and represent their brand. As the party lasted late into the night Wesley brought his long time girlfriend into the house for some time alone with each other. As they entered the house she began to kiss him and he led her to the guest bedroom, one furthest away from the party. Irva's blouse was already unbuttoned by the time they had reached the door. Wesley opened it, still kissing his girl friend when suddenly she stopped. He turned around and saw his father in bed with another woman, Wesley grew furious, and yelled at the two women to get out of the room. They did so in a hurry and the first thing Wes asked was how long had his father been cheating on his wife. The only reply Carlos gave was that they werent technically married yet. Wesley hit his father in the face and now understood why his mother had left the day before, now wishing that they both would have left sooner.

Wesley left for Australia without another word, and never returned back to Florida. With his past behind him, severing all ties he now focused on his surfing career. He lived in Australia for the next four years, traveling for competitions and meeting new people. Among those people were models that he would have flings with but never advancing more in a relationship.

His popularity grew even more with his many appearances in competitions and he was selected to sponsor Globe International. A month before an important competition Wes was mugged and beaten, the thieves had hit him with a steel pipe and crushed his left arm, breaking several bones. A friend of his found him the next day and took him to the hospital, he needed surgery if he wanted to have a chance of surfing again like he used to. But this absence wouldn't go unnoticed, and at the top of his career, globe international would stop sponsoring him if they found out he was going to be unable to compete. Wesley got the surgery done and his manager explained to the company that Wesley had disappeared to Europe to be with a girl friend who was a model there. In truth he was at home resting but with Wesley's reputation it was believable, better to be scolded and warned then taken off as being sponsored by a leading brand. The competition was a half a month away however and Wes had to compete. So he got on the plane and headed out for the competition, whether he was ready or not, he couldn't back down.

If Tyler had it his way, no one would know a single thing about him. He's secretive and doesn't open up to people easily. In the past, he wore a mask that was used to fool people that he was an open book, so that no one would suspect anything of him. But as time went on, the person behind the mask lost who he really was. His emotions are hidden by sarcastic tones, something he thinks will prevent himself from getting too close to anyone. Being blunt is a normal thing that comes to Tyler easily, he isn't afraid to speak his mind. Nor is he afraid to act upon what he is thinking, impulsive and stubborn. Hard to break him from what he has his mind set on. His recent years have taught him to distrust others, to keep his distance and focus on the things he needs to survive. Yet, working all his life within a close tied gang has proven difficult for him to break the habit of wanting to be around others who can understand him.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Tyler was exposed to a life of guns, drugs and violence early on in his young age. He was born to Vina and Jeffrey Crossdin, a couple that ran one of the gangs out in New York. They were arms dealers that sold to the highest bidder, they were hired goons for people that needed to get work done, and they never missed an opportunity to earn money even if it was dangerous. Tyler's older brother, Edwin was five years older than him and both of them fit right into this world that their parents had brought them up in. The two brothers were involved in a lot of what was going on within their household. They lived in a comfortable middle class home to avoid suspicion and Jeffrey and Vina taught their sons to keep this life secret.

Tyler did just that, he lived a double life, one where he went to school, graduated and the other where he would go home and help his father clean the guns that they needed. For his graduation present, his older brother, Edwin gave him a silver Rolex and started taking him along on his missions that he was assigned to by their gang. Edwin was Tyler's golden ticket into this world, he introduced him to other friends within their gang and finally to a girl that was Edwin's friend, Garvey Ashley. Her work had brought her to New York from her hometown of Arizona. The three of them often did missions together, even handling trades with other gangs and suppliers. During the time that Tyler spent with Garvey, they became an unofficial couple to the members within the gang. Despite their relationship that had formed, Tyler kept Garvey completely out from what happened in the following years. It was better, in Tyler's perspective, that she minimize her involvement.

The life that Tyler had come to know was slowly deteritoing from underneath him. One day he went into his father's office to drop off the money Tyler had collected only to find him dead, poisoned by something that was in his favorite brand of whiskey. Immediately Tyler searched for answers but he didn't need to look for long, Edwin appeared at the door, a smug look on his face. He confessed to murdering their father, it was something that had to be done. His reason? Money is better than family. It was evident that their father had lost control within the last year, he started abusing the alcohol he cherished after he had made a couple of mistakes within the business that had cost them thousands. Despite the financial loss, they were no where near bancruptcy, but as Tyler eyed the gun in his brother's hand, he knew who it was that really had lost their self control.

In the following month Tyler played the part as Edwin's partner as he pulled the strings to take over the gang. Edwin had proclaimed himself as official leader and started changing the way things were operating. And anyone who didnt support him would be met with death threats that everyone knew werent to be taken lightly. First off, the arms dealing would be replaced with drugs, after he found more profit in such deals. And they would be moving out of the country. Before that would happen Tyler needed to destroy the monster that their family had created. On the eve of their departure, Tyler anonymously sent a tip to the police. The New York police department took the chance, after all, their gang was becoming more noticeable to the law after Edwin's messy tactics. On the day Tyler shot a bullet to Edwin's left shoulder, purposefully and knowingly regretting his decision to let his brother live. But it was enough to slow them down before the police could arrive, in the distraction Tyler was able to get away undetected.

Tyler expected for his brother to be put in jail, but a year after the incident, he found a letter in his mailbox when he was living in Canada. It was a letter from his brother, he was coming to find him, and to personally deliver Tyler's death sentence. From then on he had to move from country to country, always on the run from his past, unable to confront the massive gang that his brother now led.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Important Belongings: A silver Rolex watch that his brother gave him when he graduated high school.

Weaknesses: Past memories that hold him back, inability to see reason when he has made up his mind

Vina Crossdin: Mother (alive)
Jeffrey Crossdin: Father (assassinated)

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Reason for Flying: Tyler had been living in Australia for almost a year when he noticed on his way from work that someone was following him. He was able to lure them into a trap and render them unconscious but he knew more would be following him. He couldn't run away from his past so easily but getting the next plane ticket out of Sydney would be his best bet. He booked the flight, and packed what little he had and headed off to the airport, making sure that no one was in pursuit of him and his plans.
