Title: Beyond The Milky Way (Book #1 of The Galaxy Series)

Are we alone?

A question asked by man for centuries. It has driven us to research and explore, in the never-ending quest to discover whether life exists on other planets.

In Beyond the Milky Way, three astronauts are bound for a planet on which, evidence has indicated, water could exist. Will they find anything else? Is it inhabitable? Is there life already on it?

A freak accident reroutes the astronauts’ shuttle onto a planet in another galaxy. With no other option than to eject from their disintegrating shuttle, they land on what they believe to be Earth. They have no reason to believe anything other than that their mission failed and were guided back to base. On discovering they have lost one of their party, their immediate aim is to reunite with him. But first, they have to find civilisation and help. And so begins their adventure, when they discover they are on a different planet (Etoo) inhabited by humans on one side and aliens on another. They discover a planet with different rules and different attitudes created to avoid the destruction and disarray its inhabitants have witnessed taking place on planet Earth.

When the astronauts realise their separated colleague has landed on the side of the aliens, with the help of some humans willing to help, they begin a perilous journey fraught with out-of-this-world dangers they never thought imaginable.

Their return to earth is impossible without a shuttle. Finally reunited with their friend, the aliens confess to them that their only shuttle was seized by their arch enemies, The Shadows. There’s only one thing to do: get back what belongs to them. But The Shadows are not going to give it back willingly, and a vicious, bloody battle ensues. The astronauts manage to retrieve the shuttle, but the frantic melee results in them heading back to Earth…with an alien on board.

This is where the book ends and the adventure continues in Book 2.
While the genre of this book is science fiction, it is intended to be thought-provoking and urges us to look closely at our lifestyles and how they may be harming our planet. In one scene of the book, the aliens use their advanced technology to view Earth virtually. When the astronauts see Earth of the future, ravaged by the way man has been living, they are shocked beyond belief and begin to understand the reasons for the humans on Etoo reconfigured their ways of living.

This aims to be a science-fiction adventure with a message for real life: we cannot see into the future, but we can take steps to protect the future of our planet by looking closely at how we live on it.

1190135 Glad to be in this group. I'm the author of six books.

India Was One by An Indian Beyond The Milky Way (The Galaxy Series #1) by Aithal Return To Earth (The Galaxy Series #2) by Aithal Divided States of America (The Galaxy Series #3) by Aithal 2120 (The Galaxy Series Book 4) by Aithal

and The Man From Afghanistan by Aithal which I released this month.

As you can see from these titles, I don't write in one genre, rather, I tend to write stories when they inspire me. The first book I wrote (can't believe it has been over ten years) is on India. The next four books are part of a science fiction series called The Galaxy Series. And I term my latest as an international adventure.
