I recommend Mary Kay Andrews, Charlaine Harris, Christine Feehan, Karen Robards, and Tess Gerritsen. I also love Terry Brooks, Clive Cussler, John Grissom, Tami Hoag, Nora Roberts, Jeffrey Devers, and John Grisham, plus so many more. But this list is my go to books.

Hello, my name is Donna Vaal but everyone calls me Dee.

I appreciate the invitation to, The Source Book Club, as I love to read. Overtime I hope to make new reading friends.

I began my writing career in YA fiction and eased into romance. However my love for thrillers and police procedural has gotten me dabbling in these areas.

My first self published book,The Living Miracle A Love Story, is set in a Dystopian world without a God. A young boy is given a doll believed to be his clone, a synthetic without life. God gives the cone life, now she is charged with sharing her story.

I enjoy reading romance, thrillers, Police procedurals, fantasy, and any story with a strong female protagonist. I also read non-fiction educational books on writing, science -with a preference to books about the brain and future technologies, Self improvement books and anything to do with Korea since I specialize in Asian men as my protagonists’ love interest.

I enjoy writing, reading, sewing, playing the piano though poorly, hiking with my dogs, riding my horses, painting especially with oils, and working in my Koi pond and garden.

I like this idea. I have two books in the editing phase and two more in the writing phase that I would love to share information about.
