I write nonfiction horror based on cases and accounts from people I meet while traveling all ove..."
I'm glad to know you too Anna! Almost finished reading your book, review is coming soon, but spoiler: it's really good so far!

My examples are: Milady de Winter, The 3 Muskateers
Hans Landa, Inglorious Bastards
Cathy Ames, East of Eden

I think I have PTSD from seeing Bambi when I was 5. They shot the mom!? Don't get me started on Dumbo and E.T. I'm 44, full of tattoos, and a horror writer and I cry like a baby when I watch these movies :)
Also, Tim Curry should be in every movie. He was fantastic.

Can you list an example?
I'll go first: The Shawshank Redemption

Never read that one. What genre?

Thank you. Your book looks like my kind of read. Anytime you'd like to swap reads, please let me know. I'm up for it.
- Elle :)"
I'm definitely down for a book swap, I love dark fiction :) I can email you a pdf of mine (disclaimer, I notoriously am a slow reader :))

My name is Elle Stockton. Recently, I published the third book of short stories in my series, Fictional tales on a ride of twists, turns and the unexpected. This book is different bec..."
Welcome, Elle. I love your book cover! Thanks for sharing. I released a book, The Void, it's also a collection of short stories, dark/fiction. Maybe in the future in this group, we can read each other's work and critique them.

Oooh... controversial!
I have to say Dracula. I prefer the preternatural abilities of the vampires, the analogy of the..."
Dracula is my favorite as well. I love the way Stoker tells the story through many sets of eyes and I love his characters.
Frankenstein is a classic, and to me is a scarier book, but I found Dracula more compelling

My name is Iseult. I'm Irish. I'm passionate about animals. I love horror, fantasy, science fiction, and all the ways they intersect. Stories help me understand life and people and all ..."
Are there any Irish horror books that you know of?

Hi Tom! What is your favorite horror book?

Dude, you like TOOL! You're forever cool in my book

I'm Chad Miller, I'm a pharmacist and was born and raised in Philly. I live in Delaware with my girlfriend Natasha. I always bash Delaware as it lacks the culture and life that I covet in a big city, but circumstances for both me and my girlfriend tie us here for the time being. I love music (my favorites are TOOL, Beatles, Zepplin, Tom Waits, and on and on), I love reading (the list is too huge but my two favorite books are Dracula and The Count of Monte Cristo), and my passion is writing.
I have a book of a collection of short stories out now and this October my debut novel is coming out.
Right now I'm reading The House of Leaves, which so far is a mind fuck, and next, I plan to read Malcolm of Earth by another new author Alex Usher (I don't think he's on GoodReads, have to get his ass on here).
There is so much more to me, but I don't want this to be a book. I'd love to find out more about you guys. What drives you? What are your passions? What do you love?
