How is everyone liking Telegraph Club so far?

How are you liking the book so far? I'm loving it. I feel like people might find it overly sentimental but there is something so absolutely charming about the writing that just enthralls me.

I just read the section with The Happy Fig's menu and I want all of it

Yeah, I definitely prefer the fig tree's chapters to Ada's so far. She's a little to myopic for my tastes

I feel betrayed that this isn't actually a romance novel. The writing is solid but my expectations were not met
