1211227 I’m currently reading the lord of the rings for the first time on audiobook for free on YouTube and I’m not kidding, best audiobook I’ve ever heard the amount of detail in the background setting blows me away it’s like watching the movie with my eyes closed https://youtu.be/xvHvCIqSN8E
1211227 If you are into really dark f@cked up stuff, Tampa by Allissa Nutting was my last short five star read

1211227 Would love some new frans, I read a book just about daily from all walks of genres with the exception of horror, thrillers and science fiction. I enjoy dominantly general fiction, romance, memoirs and random non-fiction books, I also still have a huge soft spot for young adult :)

1211227 Sue Klebolds book A mothers reckoning living in the aftermath of tragedy is probably one of the best books I’ve read and listened to. She’s the mother of one of the columbine shooters and it blew my mind. I want to hug that little old lady so bad
1211227 Oh I’m so silly I just realised you said sport romance, I’m about to read the deal by Elle Kennedy I’ve heard good things. I really enjoyed “wives and girlfriends”, that was an American football romance, was a fairly good read :) I’ve heard good things about icebreaker but I still haven’t gotten my hands on that either
1211227 It depends on what kind of romance, atm I’m struggling to find good romance because booktok recommendations such as “the things we never got over” by Lucy Score was raved about and I found it very wattpadesque, poor plot line, poorly written characters and B grade smut at best. Personal romance favourites of mine are The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez, The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren and The Bride Test by Helen Huang. Depends if you like smut or not tbh

1211227 Heres one guaranteed not heard before, The Law of Inertia by Sophie Gonzales. Best YA book I have read for a long time! At the moment it is the best book I have read all year

1211227 I have zero clue how Lucy Scores, Things we Never Got Over was popular. It was poorly written, extremely corny and extremely misogynistic. All smushed together with B grade smut. I gave it points for being easy to read aside from having to smack my head into the book every four sentences due to the absurd amount of cringe. No 40 year old woman I know is calling any mans genitals 'the destroyer of v*ginas.
