Throne of glass
Throne of glass is the perfect combination of mystery and fantasy.
We follow the protagonist Calaena Sardothien, a 17 year old prisoner with the blood of tons on her hands. One day the prince pays a visit to her prison and invites her to join a contest where she could win her freedom back.
Once at the castle she discovers the contest is not the only thing this building holds. There is a beast, a legacy and a mystery hiding in these walls. Not only does Calaena have to survive the deathly contest in order to win her freedom back, fighting against the best criminals in the land. She also has to uncover the dangers lurking in the darkness of the castle walls.
While a charming prince and a handsome guard seem interest in her, she has to keep her mind clear and try not to die.

This book is incredibly good since not only does it contain suspense, it also contains romance, plot twists, friendship and magic.
I loved this book so much since it keeps you on edge with shocking turns every page, and the characters are jnteresting and complex.
The first books in this series are spice free and i would recommend them 13+

My main problem with Gale is that I think he doesn’t have a lot of empathy. He seemed to not care about what Katniss wanted, no matter in what situation.

First when he was upset about her relationship with Peeta, like he felt entitled to Katniss’s love. He actually resented her loving Peeta, like she did something she wasnt supposed to. When it became clear to him that she had feelings for Peeta he made her feel bad about it.

Then, he pressured Katniss into a love triangle she didn’t want to be in. Katniss was trying to survive, provide for her family and keep her loved ones safe, in the meantime Gale forced her to make a choice. He didn’t let Katniss breath.

And lastly, after the war was over, and Katniss was fragile and hurt, he wasn’t compassionate or caring in the slightest. Prim’s death actually broke her and he did not give a single fuck. He didn’t check up on Katniss once

That’s why I think Gale is not a good person, not a good friend and not a good lover. Team gale shouldnt even exist.

I know Coin is an incredibly hated character and I totally understand why, but you have to remember she would never force you into prostitution. She was a terrible person yes, was she worse than Snow? In my opinion not
