just got my signed book plate... and it came with a signed book mark!! Ahh!!

•Wes and Mac! I loved them together. I also loved how it never became romantic, but you could see how much they love each other without all of the kissing. I loved their teamwork when fighting the histories. I actually thought Wes had died when he was stabbed. the flashback sections about Da dying made me think it was foreshadowing Wes’s death. Luckily it didn’t.

Owen is super creepy. anyone humming is creepy. and the narrows is a freaky place where the dead are literally alive. have that with a dead, humming, disappearing, boy and you have your formula for creepy.

I love the writing. It is beautiful and poetic. The world building is great. it slowly build up instead of one giant info-dump. the idea is great and the message about protecting the past is fantastic.
