Hey guys sorry I haven’t been active like at all, I have a lot of family stuff going on and that on top of having sports 3 days a week has been a lot and reading had naturally moved pretty low on my priority list. I’m trying to get back into it though. I just need a bit more time because I have a lot going on at the moment. I did start what I believe is BOTM (Better than the movies) Again I’m so sorry and hope everyone has a great day!!!

Well it’s been five days and I’m 100 pages in, reading hangover from Fearless is real. Trying to power through today

Okay I have a list

1: book buddies/ groups this one is pretty self explanatory a few people decide on a book they want to read together and give each other updates

2: book snacks- I think that might be the name of a monthly subscription box BUT its basically a place where we put all our favourite things to eat and drink while reading

3: playlist: we make a shared playlist where we put songs we live to listen to while reading, songs that remind us of certain books, etc.

4: song of the month: we get a song of the month that fits the vibe of the BOTM

5: book quotes: we make a conversation topic where everyone can just put their favourite book quotes (spoilers allowed)

I’ll get more ideas eventually but this is what I could come up with for now

Hi my name is Emma, my favourite book is powerless by Lauren Roberts (it was my first book that I didnt buy from the 9-12 section so it holds a special place in my heart). Fav Généreux is Romantasy. 2: ofc I would! I’m lart of another group and I could possibly push the group name around in there and I could also tell me friends who are into books abt it

3: YES 🙌, I’d love to help out and actually DO SOMETHING in a Goodreads group instead of just see what other ppl are doing like I have in the past

4: Romantasy forever and always. Is it basic? Yes. Do I care? No. Also I am okay with like a slight amount of spice but I like 99% of the time read ya unless ik the book has little to no spice. Not disrespectful towards anyone who reads smut or spicy books tho! Just my opinions

5: maybe since I am on the younger side (14) I could help think of BOTMS for possible younger audiences that could be joining this book or just people who want a good YA book! I’m good w anything though
