" Anytime," I respond and smile. I return to eating my waffle while continuing the conversation with the girls. It's nice getting to know these girls. I don't usually talk to strangers; I avoid them, with the exception of a few sweet grandmas and dogs. And when I do talk, I leave as fast as I can. Now I've discovered that I can actually be friendly and nothing will happen to me, and it's nice.
