It was a so-so read for me. I liked it, but don't really have any strong opinions on it one way or the other. I struggled with it at first because it took me a while to like Harper and her debutante attitude. I feel like it took her too long to accept her destiny, and the events at the end happened sort of fast. Also, in a way, she kind of failed in her mission to keep the mage from changing David, so I'm kinda conflicted on that. I enjoyed the slow burn relationship between Harper and David.

It took forever to get my copy from the library, but I finally got it. Not sure I'm a fan of the debutante southern belle attitude though lol.

I liked her Shiver series. Wasn't a big fan of Scorpio Races because it was too slow for my tastes. I get bored easy.

I hope no one does the audio. It was awful. I was not impressed with this book at all. It was so slow and the narrator whispered the whole time so it made it even slower. I also thought the ending was sort of weird. I don't remember much about the middle. I'm not being very useful in this discussion lol.
