It's actually good to know, because when I go into her other books, I'll be expecting it. And knowing this info has made reading Dream Thieves a lot easier.

I read that the other day when I finished the book. I hate when that happens, because the narrator can ruin a good book.

Have you read any other MS books? Is that just her nature -- to take thing slower than we are used to? I kept trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, because I'm so used to a fast paced narrative. It's like when I watch a movie that is slow, my brain tries to automatically think UGH this sucks, but really it can be good. We are just a fast-paced society and I don't know if it was that or the book actually dragged.

I hope that made sense!

Exactly. It wasn't bad writing or uninteresting, it was just slow and took a lot of concentration. I *knew* it was going to get better, so I just had to push through. But once we hit that point, it was kind of like the downhill of a roller coaster. I really liked how everything ended, because it wasn't just a rushed job or a complete set up for book two. It was a nice ending for this part of the story. I've already read half of the second book and I'm really liking it!

The only weird part was him telling the group about his dreams. I thought that could have been introduced a little differently - it was such a big set up for book two but it was like oh hey by the way...

133249 Well, I will start things off by saying OMFFJDLKEIO>SDJKL:SD.

It started off good, waned a bit in the middle, but ended spectacularly! I love the idea of ley lines, because I actually knew what that was!
