Hi! Firstly, thank you for doing this readalong! My favorite fantasy is honestly tied between Stolen Songbird and Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I stumbled upon both through Goodreads. I know Emily May and Khanh gave Stolen Songbird spectacular reviews and they're usually hard to please. Stolen Songbird was PERFECT to me in every way when I first read it. I love when my fantasy stories have unique elements. It's always so difficult for me to explain DoSaB to people but SS is pretty wild too. I also love love love slow burn romances where the guy is a little snarky and broody but the girl isn't going to just sit back and take his attitude! Cecile was so fiery! Both books also immerse the reader in a dreamlike atmosphere. Your descriptions of Trollus were so captivating, I could imagine everything so clearly!
