Ok so this post is about the chapters for "Eclipse" during the Month of September! Starting on September 1st and finishing on September 30th, these are the weekly discussion chapters!!

Week 1: Chapters 1-5, 130 pages
Week 2: Chapters 6-11, 135 pages
Week 3: Chapters 12-17, 115 pages
Week 4: Chapters 18-22, 122 pages
Week 5: Chapters 23-end, 123 pages

I'm aware the last week is only 3 days, but you can obviously pace yourself differently if you need to and the liveshow will mostly be on that first weekend of October, so you can do as you like. :)

Thank you all for sticking it out with us so far. We're halfway through the read along and I am so excited for the other half. 'Hope to see you all tomorrow for the New Moon Liveshow, and then again on September 1st to discuss Eclipse!!

NEW MOON IS OFFICIALLY OVER WHUTTTT

Okay so how do you guys feel about the ending of this book?
Confession time: I still have about 2 chapters left while posting this, but I absolutely love this section so far!

I thought we left off on such a good note last week, where Bella and Alice are getting ready to go to Italy and I'm just like "NONONO I WANT TO KEEP READING I CAN'T JUST STOP HERE!!!"

One of my favorite parts was when Alice and Bella are on the plane and Alice goes "This is getting ridiculous. I'm considering just changing you myself." and Bella goes "OH PLEASE!! I would be so much help. BITE ME" lmao like yes Bella, let's just change you into a vampire on a plane. That'll be great in-flight entertainment for the other passengers on the plane.

What were some of your favorite parts??

How'd you guys feel about this week's reading?
Personally, I really enjoyed it. I always loved the part where Alice comes back and I feel like we ended it on such a kick ass part, like they're off to Italy and now we have to stop there for the week!!

I kind of always hated Jacob, because let's be read, Bella and Edward are meant for eachother. But after this week, I'm kind of starting to like him as her best friend, like I can deal with him for now lmao

I am so emotional reading this like with Edward leaving and then Jacob being a total dickhead when he changes it's just like omg bella my poor baby let's just sit on the couch and watch america's next top model and eat icecream and cry together please

What did you guys think bout this weeks reading? :)

Oh my gosh I literally am trying not to cry after reading this like it's so upsetting. I cannot wait for this liveshow so I can just go off about how rational she's being like are you kidding? The love of her life just walked out on her, she's allowed to be miserable!! I hate when people say she's so whiny, like, that's how some break ups are!

I also hated reading the parts leading up to him leaving because I can see it coming and I'm just like no no no Edward please don't leave don't go nooooo"

YES! I totally agree like I read the first bit of new moon today and she says it and I'm just like ASDFGHJKL;'

Hey y'all! So today we start the second book in the Twilight series, "New Moon"! I'm about to start my reading for this week, so what do you guys think about the first few chapters?!?

I totally understand lol yes the prom bit was perfect!!

YES EVERYBODY PARTICIPATE!
I honestly think the epilogue might be my favorite part of the entire book. I love how pissed off Bella gets when she finds out that Edward is taking her to the prom. I also loved how Tyler showed up at Bella's house and Edward talks to him and is like "Bella isn't free tonight. Or any night, for that matter." like TOTAL SHUT DOWN lmao and ugh the part where he like pretends he's about to turn her gives me so many feels.

I loved this last section because it shows how selfless Bella is. Like, it starts and ends with her giving things up for others. In the beginning, she moves to Forks so that her mom can travel with Phil and would be happy. In the end, she nearly gives up her life because she A. thinks her mom is in danger B. doesn't want any harm to come to Edward and his family (that she only met formally like a week before lol). That's a quality I admire so much in Bella, I honestly think she is one of the most selfless female protagonists out there.

And also, I'm not sure if this was week 4 or week 5 because I read both of those readings in the same day, but I loved the part where Alice is talking about how Bella wouldn't notice the change in Edward, but they all did and she doesn't want to look in his eyes for the next hundred years if he loses her. Ugh, such cute sisterly love. Alice is definitely my favorite Cullen behind Edward lol.

Hey Everybody! This week is the last week of "Twilight" for the read-along. We'll be starting "New Moon" on the 3rd of August, so I thought I'd post the reading schedule for next month!

Week 1: August 3-9: Chapters 1-6 158 pages
Week 2: August 10-16: Chapters 7-12 140 pages
Week 3: August 17-23: Chapters 13-18 123 pages
Week 4: August 24-30: Chapter 19-End 139 pages

The books do get bigger as the series progresses, therefore, we have to start adding a few more pages to each week. If it's an inconvenience, just read at your own pace and participate in the discussions when you're up to everyone else's level :)

ALSO, NOTE CONCERNING THE READ-ALONG:
I will be making another goodreads post/ youtube announcement when things are set in stone, but as of now, the liveshow is scheduled for SATURDAY, AUGUST 9TH. We don't have a time yet, but keep your eyes peeled for new info. Thank guys!!
