Are short reads and audiobooks using novelettes growing in popularity? (1 new)

I wanted to write these short novelettes and have them on Kindle and audiobooks (and paperback--the Giveaway starts today) for light entertainment that is handy and convenient for busy people. Each novelette is about fifteen thousand words split in three parts for easy reference. Is this a good thing?
