I prefer the Fairacre series with Miss Read. I only have one friend who reads that lives near me, she doesn't read what I lo, miss Read, r. Pilcher, Elizabeth Goudge etc. Check out Susanna kearsleys book the Winter Sea, awesome and Kate Morton.

Jackie, I have collected d.e. Stevenson's books. also, Miss Reads. Read mostly U.K. authors just like that's what I watch on acorn tv, britbox.com

I also read and reread Margaret Yorke, great psychological suspense writer but sadly deceased

Rosamunde Pilcher is my favorite. I used to read the Shell Seekers every year. Her books are great!! Also Kate Morton, Kristin Hannah’s the nightingale.also Ann Victoria Roberts Louisa Elliot and the sequel Liam’s story which I’m releasing. Have you ever read miss read? Collect her books

I've also worked in two bookstores, which was great and sold books on Amazon. I'm also a crocheter. My mom who is 102 still reads.
