Omg! I know! I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't splurged on a Kindle. Just the freebies alone have given me so many books and series that I would've never known. I've discovered many great authors that are hidden gems, too! Best investment ever.

That doesn't sound stupid at all. It's awesome that you read at all!
When I first started, I had no idea what to read next (this was before I discovered Goodreads, mind you) that I only read what Walmart had to offer in the YA section. Even then, I was still picky and only read PNR. Also, I didn't know how to keep track of all that I read, so I ended up making YouTube videos of the images of each series I read. It was a hard-knock life before this site showed up! Lol

There's so many more that I'd like to list, but I'll stop! These are golden :)

I may have read the cute Dr. Suess books a time or two, and I came across a few in Middle School that I surprisingly enjoyed, but I didn't catch Reader Fever until I accidentally watched Twilight, the movie. I know, I know! But, here's the thing, when my friend and I went to see it, I thought I was about to watch a movie based off the show The Twilight Zone. I mean, all I knew about it was it had vampires, which seemed legit, right? I was mislead, obviously. However, I greatly enjoyed the movie and really wanted to know what was going to happen next so I read New Moon (I skipped the first book since I had seen the movie already, but I later found out that was a mistake). I remember getting so into it that I flew through the last three in less than a week. I even went back a read it over again, but this time starting from the first one. I was completely hooked!
Then came The Mortal Instruments, Vampire Academy, Sweep, House of Night, The Darkest Powers, and many others! My friends and family couldn't believe it (I was such a book-hater before that I would've burned a library down for fun if given the opportunity). Talk about a metamorphosis!
And though I don't think of Twilight as my favorite series anymore, I have a lot of thanks to give to that series. Otherwise, I don't know who I'd be now. Hell, I could've been a pyromaniac library killer! So, yeah. Twilight had it's bonuses in it's heyday ;)

2. I have a list of favorite authors in my bio because it's easier than trying to remember all of them :P
3. I will marry a fictional character one day (Toss up between Adrian Ivashcov in VA/Bloodlines and Dallas Bines in From Fame to Shame) and it will be true love, of course!
4. I have crazy dreams that should be written into a novel each night. (I'm no Stephen King, though)
5. I will recommend books I love over and over until everyone I know can hold a conversation with me about them ;)
