146554 We had the pleasure of discussing this book at Bukayriyah's local cafe. It was a fruitful meeting attended by 9 members, and we went through the major events in this book. I'm going to post my own synopsis of the book in the next comment, and I'd suggest all members participate as well.
cheers!

146554 The Media Team of SRC's Reading Club is currently working on a video-based tutorial on 'How to Enjoy using GOODREADS!'
The idea was given life by the requests (and complaints) from our members - and since we'd love to have eager & capable participants, we decided to pursue this task..

If you, dear goodreader, have a suggestion to offer then please feel free to do so in this post.
Thank you & have a nice day.

146554 On the 2nd of November 2014, our colleague 'Iyas Yasser' gave a presentation on the topic 'Learning Languages' - it included how to begin learning and methods you could use to obtain your goal of learning a language.

Here are some of the websites mentioned within the presentation:
englishtown.com
englishplace.net
memrise.com
duolingo.com (an app version is available)
busuu.com
languageguide.org
polyglotclub.com

I would like to thank 'Iyas' for this mind-opening presentation, and request of him to update this thread with more information and insight that he sees fit.

All members are welcome to post anything they believe is related to the topic 'Language Learning'.
