147920 Great idea, Heena! In these days at home, I'm fishing from my physical library and Kindle archive (bought and Prime Reading).
I would like to finish some series, so these books, for example:

Last Argument of Kings
Queen of Fire
Babylon's Ashes
Persepolis Rising
Tiamat's Wrath
Witcher novels

I don't know if I can read everything, but I have time, I have books, so I'll try. :)

Great novel, Heena! I read it some months ago and I liked. A good story, with a mix of supernatural and mistery.
Jan 25, 2020 02:26PM

147920 1) The Martian Inca
2) Nemesis Games

The 5th book in The Expanse series is great, after a couple of books I didn't liked. I hope the next will be the same, even though I don't know If I can read this night.

A really good book. My first by Gaiman (as far as I am concerned.)"

Hi, Heena! I loved Norse Mythology, as all written by Gaiman. In this case the subject is one of my favorites, with an undoubted charm, so in the end, has been a winning combination.

I've discovered him while I was reading The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Titanic Tragedy. I read only this novel, but I like his style and I think I'll try something else.

147920 In the end, this is the summary of my February readings:

1) The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Titanic Tragedy
2) The Thinking Machine

A good month!

147920 #3 Red Dragon

Yesterday evening in tv there was the movie with Anthony Hopkins and Edward Norton. An incredible coincidence and, for me, an excellent opportunity. :)

A lot of time has passed since I read the original series, but I loved these adventures. Some are so vivid in my memories, but after so many years I would like to reread them. :)
Recently I read some novels based about Sherlock Holmes written by recent authors. There are some good ones and other not so much.

Thanks, Ashley! I liked the story, even though the Titanic's tragedy has put in the background the mystery side of the story. But a nice book and another chance to see Holes and Watson at work.

147920 #1 The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Titanic Tragedy.

A nice adventure, but more interesting like a description of the last voyage of Titanic, rather than an adventure of a mature Sherlock Holmes.

147920 I'm haven't a clear idea about books to read for this challenge, so I will start with some titles I found in my tbr list:

1) The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Titanic Tragedy
2) Red Dragon
3) Sharp Objects

147920 A brief summary of my situation:

1) Cibola Burn
2) A Fire Upon the Deep
3) The Tar-Aiym Krang (still in progress)

Not the result I hoped, but I had fun. :)

I'm far behind my schedule for this month. :(
I can't read enough, but the month is not finished, so I have some possibilities. :)
Jan 13, 2019 01:54PM

147920 1) Cibola Burn

I finished it today and even if it was a good reading, I'm not fully satisfied. I liked the first two books, but I started to be disappointed by the third and now this bad feeling is even bigger.
Too much characters with their stories but, above all, an ending that leaves me totally dissatisfied.
Jan 03, 2019 05:57AM

147920 I've been away for a long time and this looks a great month to come back. I'd like to reach at least the level 5 with these books:

1) Cibola Burn
2) Nemesis Games
3) A Fire Upon the Deep
4) Babylon's Ashes
7) The Tar-Aiym Krang
6) Bloodhype

147920 Probably my last 2018 update. I read only few fantasy books in this month:

1. The Amulet of Samarkand: Nice story, funny, but even mysterious and full of twists that make you devour all the chapters.
2. The Ring of Solomon: another good story of the series, with more space for this incredible character, Bartimaeus
3. Zothique: a collections of novels, a fantasy in the Robert Howard style, with magic and horror that dominate every story.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
