The new Bourne books are just as entertaining but feel more in line with the recent 5 movies and tv series by the name of Treadstone. They are like Ludlum fun and entertaining. Both Lustbader and Freeman are accomplished writers in their own right.

Very immersed into the Bourne Universe currently with having read 2 Bourne books now am busy with the 3rd Treadstone novel and having the 3rd series 1st novel Blackbriar on its way through European postal services. It seems that unlike its creator Bourne and his universe does not want to die.

Try the Charlie Parker series by John Connolly, read from the first onward the genre noir with a touch of supernatural, of Michael Connelly his Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller books are more than decent police procedural and Lawyer both in LA.

I still work in a drastically emptier office and when I work in the evenings for the customer service I work for the traffic gets really slower an it leaves me alone in the office so I can actually read on the job, which is a bonus. (paid reading!)
And having my two daughters and wife at home it is also a nice getaway from all the noise and busy home.

Artemis by Andy Weir a HB version
Not sure of the qualification besides Scifi.

Only to sleep by Lawrence Osborne, the latest Philip Marlowe book, only the third writer who wrote a continuation novel as requested by the Chandler estate.
A very good book about a seventytwo year old Marlowe Gavins his last case.

I am currently a whole 13 days before my well earned vacation and this book will most certainly feature a place for reading in that period. So I am not feeling pressured at all.

We will see and that is going to cause major mayhem on my reading habits this month.

While I expect Sweden & Iceland not to be major players I must admit liking especially the Iceland team, even if it is not for their football, which is mostly strong defending with a few counters.
Argentina is a mediocre team around Messi and Germany seems to have lost their mojo recently I am not sure if they can pick up themselves in time.

Spain, Portugal, Brasil, Belgium & Switzerland

Too much football for the next weeks.

If I have the time to read with the world championship football starting right now.

I still have not read 11/22/66 that one has indeed taken some shelfspace and has yet to be read too. Stephen King does write bloody bricks of books you need some serious time reading them.

I did already read Kings latest "the outsider"and liked that one fine. Holding me back from SB is the bloody size of the book.

I just got this novel from my daughter, who prefers Fangirl to this book.
She said that is a so-so book, but glad to lend it to me, will probably read it this weekend.

Philip Kerr, John Connolly, Michael Connelly , Jo Nesbo are releasing this year they are as always must buys.

Congratulations for such a big achievement, Well done.
