148497 The Night Watchman, Louise Erdrich - A Curious Mind

(Several curious minds actually, and could also tick most of these mini-challenges this month in one way or another.)

148497 I’m sure my thoughts will change the next time I look at the list, but today my top picks are:

1. Richard III
2. The Portable Dorothy Parker
3. David Copperfield

*The Handmaid’s Tale would be #1 or #2, but I don’t see it on the list. (Crazy?) So Oryx & Crake for #4.

5. One Hundred Years of Solitude

148497 That sounds good to me, too.

Which other books were put on your list?

148497 I like this idea. I just finished David Copperfield and feel as proud as if I’d climbed a mountain. I enjoyed loved it, but man, did it take a long time - 6 months, off & on.

If anyone wants to talk about it with me, I’d love that, especially while it’s still somewhat fresh in my mind.
