This is the SCARIEST book I have ever read. Loved it.

This is what I read for week 12. I love Margaret Atwood, and this did not disappoint. Some stories were slower (in the beginning) but the middle and end stories were awesome!
There are a few stories in there that felt like seeds of some future novels of hers (Handmaid's Tale, Oryx & Crake trilogy). My review of it:

Now I need to find this book...love Marquez!

Michelle, your comment is dead on. I loved A Walk in the Woods and A Short History of nearly everything. But The Lost Continent just made me angry with him...very condescending and pretentious in it.

I loved this book! A top 25 for sure. Was scared of the initial premise of time travel...thought it would be hard to follow but found it wasn't at all. I loved the ending. HATE the ending in the movie. Great romantic story.

Such a great book. I have tried several of his others and none were quite the same or as good. Enjoy!

Love Atwood, one of my favorite authors. I agree, Handmaid's Tale is the best of hers (at least that I have read so far). I read Oryx and Crake several years ago, before it became a trilogy (and soon to be a TV series!) so now I will have to go back and read it again!

This was the book I picked for an author under 30. Great look into a savant with Asperger's Syndrome!

This book is hilarious! Enjoy! If you watch Family Guy, picture Peter as you read it ;)

Andrea, that's perfect...it's on my bookshelf!
