I loved this book. From beginning to end it sparked my interest. From the love interests to the person of interests it had me at full attention. I love how detail oriented this novel is. The characters were well introduced and remained very active in the story. Pam Jenoff does a good job with everything I require a good book to have which are well written characters. As well as strong description of times and places.

I have just finished chapter 28. These past four chapters have been incredible and full of so many emotions. I love that Eleanore has not stopped looking for answers to some questions that have arose in her mind due to sad things that have happened in her life.

Oh my gosh! These past four chapters have been so intense and insane. It's hard to believe I am where I am in the book now.

Oh my gosh! Chapter 19 was incredible. With such intensity I couldn't see what was coming until I read it. The story just keeps unfolding right before my eyes and it's incredible.

I just finished chapter 16. OH MAN, is it worth the read! So far we see all is going well up until chapter 16. Some problems arise and the answer to the problems is not yet revealed so I'm excited to read on.

I'm on chapter 15 and so far it is incredible writing. There's a love story starting and I appreciate that being woven into the book. We enter Grace's world in chapter 15.

I just finished chapter 12. Chapter 12 is very interesting because it is foreshadowing of what is going to happen next to Marie and Eleanor.

I'm already on chapter 11 and I'm back with Marie on the battlefield. It's very exciting to be in this world with her. The attention to detail is very good.
Carol wrote: "Do you recommend reading the first 4 chapters and holding off before going ahead? I have only read the first 2 chapters do far, but just wondering. Thanks!"I'm just reading the book at my own pace. I'm not rushing to catch up to anyone or slowing down to stay with someone else's speed. That doesn't make me comfortable. So read at your own speed.

I just finished chapter four. This story, based on true events, is so well written so far. I love how she describes the women in such great detail. I love the aspect of the suitcase so far.
