The Little Prince by Antoine de St-Exupéry?

I just started the book and I'm only on page 30, but have any of you read Paper Towns by John Green? Some elements of it really remind me of it so far. Sloane's and Margot's character are similar, and the fact that they disappear leaving hints behind them is really similar too. Anyways, I can already tell I'm going to enjoy this book :)
