I cannot say I have a favorite starting place. I have Rain and Retribution that begins after the Netherfield Ball, Particular Intentions begins when Jane is convalescing at Netherfield, and Undoing as well as Unwavering Trust are alternate universe and begin before canon. My new story is a new ending of sorts and begins after Pemberley. It all depends on the muse and the inspiration :)

Amazon does not regulate the content in books and leaves it up to the author if they wish to have an editor, etc. (with the exception of plagiarism!). If you find an error, there are multiple ways to notify an author if they have a typo in their book (and even books with multiple proofreaders still have typos!). You can report the error in the Kindle. On the page with the error, tap and hold onto the misspelled word. ...
Select more from the pop-up menu.
Tap on Report Content Error.
Select what type of content error it is.
Describe the issue in the text box (optional).
Tap on Submit.
That puts a report on our Kindle publishing page so we can fix it. You can also notify the author through a personal message if you know how to contact them through social media.

I'm so happy you've found happiness in reading JAFF! I can certainly understand the study since I often re-visit my favorite stories when I need a boost.

To answer your question, there's a site called JAFFindex that has a list of fan fictions as well as ways to search by category, JA novel, etc. It does have a username and password, but those can be obtained on one of the fan sites (AHA, DWG, and Darcy and Lizzy). The Index is by no means a comprehensive list since there is a lot of JAFF out there but it is a fun resource.
