That book was so long, yet everything felt rushed

This may have been the most intriguing chunk of the book... And yet I was still mildly bored with it.

I actually liked Rhys more in the beginning.. Now he is getting i dont know.. Bland?

Well, I was not expecting that ending to the sixth chapter! This book is so fun! I am really enjoying it. I really like how easy and well defined everything is. There is depth to the world and the characters, but it isn't too intricate that makes you confused. The pacing is great and I'm loving all the little cliff hangers!

Alright! So this is getting AWESOMEEEEE! I was officially hooked at this section of the book! I love Blue and her family and I SERIOUSLY LOVE PERSEPHONE! she is giving me all of the luna love good vibes!!!!

As for the boys, I don't understand why everyone is all GANSY GANSY! while I'm over here like ADAM! <3 my cowboy and RONAN <3 my bad boy! who is raising a little raven! and then there is poor noah... is it just me or is he super creepy?! I feel like there is way more to find out about noah, but he is always popping up in random places, and then sometimes not around at all. Also the back story for Ronan and Declan.... sadddddddd.

and i totally forgot about the mysterious man! now, i wanna go and read that passage again!

I agree! The story is slow and the characters are little vague to me. The pacing I feel does match the tone of the book which I do love, but if this had been a book I didn't push through a bit, I could have put it down.

I like Blue so far and the boys, particularly Adam! That southern charm....

Yes! i had trouble at first getting into it because I couldn't imagine blues family characters! but now that I am a little further along it is making more sense!

Okay! First! Is the dark stranger GASTON!? Haha and do I aurally like him!?

Anyways.. The death scene was intense and sad which I really enjoyed. The emotion she put into that scene was so real.

However, why does she keep disobeying them!? If someone told me to just stay inside all night and lock the door I would, I don't wanna die.. I'd be constructing more plans to escape.

Furthermore, she goes out twice!!? Why would you leave again other than to find Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome!!? And I absolutely hated the hallway encounter. Maas's writing felt so weak and disjointed in that scene... Plus I hate how stupid feyre was and how dominate tamlin was... Although he is a beast and at least she slapped him, maybe she has some fight in her!

Okay! So far I like this a lot! It is a little info dumpy at times about the world... Instead of exploring it with feyre we are told about it. I also didn't like that some things just seem to convenient or I'll explained at the moment.

I always have a gripe when things are too "convenient" in books. For example, when she is just put in a sleep part way through the journey and then wakes up at the end of the trip..... Why not just put her in the sleep from the beginning of the journey!? And further more, why is he keeping her alive in the first place!? Is he desperate for some reason!?

I am very intrigued about the disease/illness that is going around. The fact that it can effect both fae and human is intriguing!

I hope that the pacing and the writing continue at the level, because I am finding it a very relaxing fantasy read to follow along with!

This is so fun to read! I love seeing Dawn and Emily start to really connect and enjoy each other company. I also find Collins helping out Emily with the list HYSTERICAL! this book is so fun!

I am really enjoying this book. I really like Sloane, to me she is like the older sibling taking care of the younger sister. It feels like every task on the list has a hidden message and or meaning. There is a hidden message in everything Sloane has left behind for Emily.

I love reading the flash backs... They are my favorite!
