Just finished the book and it was absolutely amazing!!! The writing was beautiful, the world was just so rich and detailed. I loved the pacing of it too. I feel like the author did a great job of making a standalone feel satisfying in such a short length. I wish our villains would have had more depth but honestly it's not something I'm bothered by when reading so it didn't take anything away for me. The ending was perfect. So glad Zahra and Aladdin ended up together! And the little Sinbad cameo at the end, so cool!! If it wasn't for this read along I probably would have never been inclined to pick up this book but I'm SO glad I did.

Still loving this book so far!! I wasn't expecting for the plot to get this crazy!! Aladdin has definitely dug himself into a deep hole at this point. And I find myself really loving the relationship between him and Zahir so far as it slowly intensifies. The "villain" still feels a little one sided to me though.

Loving this story so much. It's beautifully written. I like that we got a little bit of back story but not too much so it isn't info dumpy. The author is doing a great job with immersing us into this world and slowly making us fall for the main characters.

So far I'm loving this book!! The writing, the world, the characters. It's just so good!! The only thing I'm worried about is that prince Darian may be one of those one note villains. Hopefully there is some depth to him as the story moves on. I love how the story is unfolding so far and it's been easy to follow.

I'm glad I liked the ending to this. It was very action packed and by the end of the book I definitely started to enjoy the characters and the world. And there was a clear distinction between each of the Raven boys and their personalities. Blue is definitely my favorite character in this whole story. I'm actually looking forward to the next book at this point.

I'm finally loving this world and the story telling. It's so creepy and I love it. It took me a while to get invested but I finally am. I still think Blue and Adam are great together. And HOLY CRAP!!! Was not expecting Noah to be dead this whole time!! Crazy!! The one thing I didn't really like was Gansey trying to bribe the principal to let Ronan stay in school. Like money is just going to fix all of their problems. The fact that they are so rich just makes the characters not very relatable to me. But that's just my opinion. The story is still great!

So things are definitely becoming a little more clear to me and I'm not as lost anymore which is good. Neeve definitely makes me uneasy, I agree with that. I really like Adam. I feel if the whole Blue and Gansey thing happens it may be forced at this point. I guess I'll just have to see what happens. I'm definitely still intrigued though.

I officially love Blue and her family. I'm still not sure what's so great about the Raven boys themselves. I'm still a little confused with the plot. But after Blue and Gansey officially meet at the reading I have to say that's what hooked me. I need to know what happens at this point!!

I started this book last week while I was away on vacation and was struggling a bit to understand what was going on. I thought it was me and the fact that I wasn't in my normal reading environment, but after reading everyone else's comments I can see it wasn't me. I'm definitely intrigued. I like Blue so far and find her story interesting but haven't really fallen in love with it yet. We'll see where this goes.

I think this last bit of the book made up for some of the shortcomings it had throughout. The final task was super intense and for a minute there I was expecting to see Feyre's sister. Glad she didn't have to go through the that.
Overall I think if it wasn't for the second half of the book I may not have continued with the series. But I'm excited to see what other things happen in the next book. And who the new villain will be. I mean, come on, there always has to be a villain :)

This book is getting so good!!!!! Rhysand turned out to be a better character than I thought and I love that Feyre is kicking serious butt!! It's awesome! I'm glad this book is turning out to be better than how it started. Really loving this!

Love where this story is finally going. Having the curse explained makes things clear now. I loved the relationship between Feyre and Nesta and hope there is more of it.
Amarantha and Rhys are great villains and am excited to see where things go from here.
That riddle though?!? I don't trust that the queen will live up to her promise even if Feyre does figure it out.

Rhysand was definitely a great introduction into the story. I continue to enjoy Lucian and all of his smart remarks. They're hilarious.
With Feyre now being back in the real world I wonder how she is going to re adjust not being around Tamlin. My thought is is not very well. And the aggressive sex scene is just not something I enjoy reading in books.
I'm still really enjoying the story.

I like that we got some more back story on the characters and really enjoyed the scene with the dying faerie as everyone else did. But I found it kind of cheap the explanation they gave as to why Tamlin is nice to Feyre. Because his father and brothers were not kind and he doesn't want to be like them was just not very convincing to me.
And Feyre makes some stupid decisions which frustrates me! For a hunter who is supposed to have good instincts she's not really showing that.

Ok.... So I'm officially intrigued!! More world building and now they introduce all of these creepy creatures?!?! The Bogge's seem super creepy and awesome!! And now poor Feyre has these four evil fairy things watching her from the trees?!?!? Holy crap! This is getting good! I'm liking Lucian, not a big fan of Tamlin yet, sorry. I wonder who this evil "her" is that everyone seems so scared of? We'll see :)

Just started today! So far I'm liking the world. I'm hoping for more development as I keep reading and I'm glad it sounds like it's going to be more than just romance with the "sickness" that was brought up at the end of chapter 7. Let's see where this goes ;)
