173628 I feel like I say this about a lot of books atm, but this is really one of my all time favourite books. It has it's parts here the story is a bit stagnant, but then you have all the amazing descriptions of the nature, and the world they see. I just find it utterly fabulous.

But then again, this is a Romantic Novel, and they tended to go on and on about the scenery, and the emotions, and that's not everyone favourite part in a book.

What did you think of the epistolary aspect? Did you ever think about how it was being told? Walton as the narrator, telling the story through Victor and the Creature? Did you think it worked, or was it something you didn't really notice?

173628 I don't know if any of you have started this book, or even plan on reading it, but I really hope you do!
It is one of my all time favourite books, and I'm re-reading it right now.

Don't get scared off my the names, it took me the entire book to remember them all. Darn Italian names ;)

173628 Hello! That's great, mix it up a bit! I hope that I'll get to The Shining, even though I get scared just thinking about it... And I haven't seen the film, I prefer to be able to sleep;)
And I tend to fall asleep during movies as well, but I think the mindbogglingly fear would keep me awake for this one...I don't know if you can tell, but I'm not very good with any kinds of scary movies:)
