Kind of what all of you have said about Sarai/Izabel's character, I definitely get. The first time I read this I was so frustrated with her because she's always jumping the gun, especially how she thought she could take Hamburg all by herself in the beginning. But as much as sometimes she annoyed me, I think I would have been WAY disappointed in her character if she was a natural at not only killing, but the finesse details of carrying out a job. I like that she makes these mistakes because it showed me that she's not perfect and still learning. It would have been unbelievable for me if she was just as good as Victor was, ya feel me?

The very end when Sarai is watching the tv report and she sees Hamburg and she just knows she's gonna go back to LA to kill him I was like "Yes gurl, you go do that."

And I just have to say I hated Niklas in the book, but considering by book 5 he's my favorite character I loved going back and reading him again. It gave me a totally new perspective on his character.

YESSS. I love how slow burn it is. The first third of the book is all about their indifference to each of that I love that so much. And then slowly ;DDD

I loved that we didn't get Victor's pov until chapter 8. I think it it really, strangely, strengthened his mysteriousness that we only had Sarai's thoughts up until then.

The beginning is paced so well because it keeps pulling you along that you don't want to stop reading!

My favorite part so far is the conversations between Sarai and Victor, especially in the very beginning where you can tell he really doesn't want to talk to her, haha.
